I have the LE (Limited Edition) The LE came out about 2-3 years ago and was only available here in the U.S. at a store called GUITAR CENTER They only made 500 of them, I have 011. this pissed off a lot of people overseas, so therefore AKAI came out with the SE. The only difference is the color of the screen and of course there were only 500 of mine made Check out 1:34 of the video. The SE's are not limited edition.

yo that setup is crazy nice sample beat needs some kick to it though lol also when i sample i sample it threw fruity loops and it aways comes choppy how do i chop the sample to make it smooth
Aint nothing wrong with sampling but some people get too carried away with it! If you ever do decide to get into it I would highly recommend an MPC, But what ever you do PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! DO NOT, MAKE the CHOP-SHOP your best friend! PEACE!
The CHOP SHOP is ok to use, But I just hate it when someone samples something to pads 1-16 and lay down a simple beat and literally hit pads 1 thru 16 over the beat and SWEAR that the beat is hot I am just saying, That I think some people should be more creative when it comes to sampling. The MPC's are capable of so much more.

I'm Not sure but if I were to try it (wich in the next few days I will) I would come directly out of my Mbox/Audio Interface into the MPC but I would definately use headphones because depending on how you have it hooked up you might get hella feedback, If I get it working I will let you know and see if I can walk You Through it!
