Bad customer service from Best Buy Homes 4250 Portage ave, Headingley MB

i bought a best buy home in 209 but in Brandon man.i had broken dry wall a cracked ceiling,broken dish washer,broken siding a furnace that worked for one week and had to fix myself cracked ceramic tiles that were cracked, molding that was coming off in the bed rooms and living room and after a month living in the home the paper was starting to lift off the dry wall.Told them about the problems they fixed the dishwasher and bathroom. said they would be back to fix the rest they never did.

them for the last seven months: belly of trailer is in pieces and falling down, pipes and plumbing parts missing, frame bent, siding buckled and missing, electrical outlets not working, kitchen lights wont stay on, roof leaks, shingles missing, carpet fraying, doors won"t close, broken windows and mirrors, broken seals on windows, problems with appliances, problems with furnace, cielinsgs cracked, caulking missing around sinks and tubs, grout and tiles broken, and on and on...

@polkadotmoom Take a bunch of pictures and post your troubles here, if nothing else it makes you feel better and lets other know about there "great" service.

Thanks, I figured you would tell me that all problems weren't resolved. To anyone out there considering a mobile home - warning - stay clear away from Best Buy.  The trailers may look pretty on the lot, but be warned its nothing but a nightmare once your home arrives. And the customer service bites the big one. They have no service. Here is a list of just a few of the things wrong with my trailer, and maybe only five of the minor problems have been resolved, and we have been fighting with ....

Can you tell me if you ever settled with Best Buy or if and what they have done to correct all the problems. We too have very similar problems with our trailer. In all fairness, Best Buy has repaired some of the minor problems, but they have a long ways to go. We are finding them very slow, and difficult to deal with.

@polkadotmoom They did repair some and some not to my satisfaction and some where never done; but like you said, slow and difficult to deal with, so I just gave up and made this video and fixed the stuff myself.  Take lots of pictures and make lots of notes and if they don't come through for you, make a Youtube video of the remaining problems and your experience with them.

Too bad though, Best Buy Homes is only a 20 miles away, would have been nice doing business with a local company.

I was in contact with there office last week getting some prices... but now, screw that. I'll take my business else where.

So sad that customer service has gone out the window....

Take them to court and get them to fix it.

wow being a headingly resident this isnt a good showing for what was thought to be a long standing builder this is just flat out garbage they should step to the plate and take care of all the issues

Bister - I think you need to take this up a level if they will not get this fixed. There are way too many minor problems (the bent frame is not one of them though) that could easily have been fixed by now.

Hmmm. If they haven't returned calls or at least sent a rep out see your concerns within say 2 months I would be calling the lawyer to see about starting a suit.

I am from Winnipeg, I will be letting a few key people know about this situation. They may be experiencing some severe reduction in sales shortly. Was this possibly delivered to a winter roads destination then brought back? Unbelievable damage otherwise. BestBuy... BETTER FIX THIS FAST!!!!

That's terrible - I really hope they step up and repair what's wrong or just replace the whole trailer. :-(
