  • Hello Laoshu, I'm a Chinese and now i'm in Vietnam :)

I can speak Vietnamese now and learning Japanese.

I have a question, if you study by yourself, how do you know the sentence you made with new words is correct?

I have a Japanese teacher here, i always made sentences with new words, but... my teacher correct me a lots, some sences are correct in grammer, but not the normal way that Japanese speak in their normal life. somtimes my grammer is not correct, sometimes

  • @evawei Hi. I think you're doing the right thing by having a native correct you. I pretty much do the same. Making these type of videos is part of my strategy for getting feedback from native speakers if something looks strange. It's inevitable, you're going to make mistakes in a language that you don't have much experience with. Keep going.

  • @laoshu505000 Go to Lang-8.com this is what I use for writing Japanese, and some native Japanese person fixes my sentences. They write in English and you fix theirs if you want. The site contains people learning many different languages, helping each other out. Go there write in whatever language you want and watch someone or multiple people correct you. Its only write that you should at least correct someone's English post, on that site. The more friends you have on there, the more you benefit

  • Thanks for yet another great video, laushu.

  • Thanks. I haven't seen you for a while.

  • No problem. I have been busy studying. I am going for the sankyuu test this year in New York. I know I will easily pass, but I want some practice with the exam. I'll take the nikyuu next year. I also have been putting a lot of time into Latin, Portuguese, and Italian. Hope to see you around and keep up the great work.
