@collossi no he didnt he died at Baidicheng in the spring of 223 after battle of Yi Ling he escape to overnight to Baidicheng (Guan Yu at Fan Castle) Zhang Fei Death at Yi Ling ordered Zhang Da and Fan Jiang prepare mourning clothes for his entire troops after three day they defected to Wu and murder Zhang Bao and Zhang Fei

Oddly enough, in real life, Cao Cao had been dead for 14 years by the time the battle at Wu Zhang Plains took place.

Still the idea of him & Liu Bei having their finaly showdown here is really quite cool. Shame it didn't happen but alas, both would have been old men by the time this happened.

Well y'know that's the thing with the leaders in DW5, they get extended Musou mode and an extended life-time inside it xD. There are others who has their life extended in musou modes too, example Pang Tong and Dian Wei.

Yes, he only shows up in Cao Cao's Musou Mode.

This is when you kill Zuo Ci as Cao Cao, not when you start battling with him.

In my opinion, Zuo Ci ruined Cao Cao's storyline, and also tipped the story a lot in Shu's favor even more.

Then again, I think DW5 had the most vanilla interpretation of the Three Kingdoms story yet- at least DW3 had dead characters appearing in final stages if you beat their musou mode.. DW5 had everything exactly the same with little differences.
