If Al Gore would of been elected president 9/11 would never happen ( knowing that Bush didn't do shit for 6 months knowing of the terrorist threads, which 11 countries warned us) energy independence would been reality, the economy would of been great, gay marriage could of been possible........President Al Gore 2000-2009 just wonder .....
This election did alot of permanent damage, the parties got more bitter many democrats ignored everything bush did because they didnt think he was a legitimate president, the following 8 years were the most unproductive in american political history
If the result in FL were overturned, the presidential election would have gone to the House, there, each state's delegation would have had one vote - at the time, 27-23 Republican. Bush would have won no matter what. The VEEP would have gone to the Senate, one vote per senator - at the time, 50-50. Gore casts the tie-breaker...and we would have had Bush as president & Lieberman as VP. Bottom line, Bush would have won no matter what & Gore finally realized it.

The examples I cited in my OP is hardly "cherry-picking" history. These were major events in US history. The Democrat's past affinity for slavery and its past hatred of blacks, especially after the Civil War, is well-documented.
BTW, do you know what some Dems call a black person who votes GOP?

Martin Luther King didn't work with Republicans, he worked with democrats like LBJ. That's why segregationists, like Strom Thurmond, went Republican. Even now democrats are the ones pushing gay rights while republicans want to promote inequality.

Not sure about the 2000 Election as their being fraud involved. Now in the 2004 Election, that was a different. There was diffently fraud involved in the 2004. I mean all the exit poll's in FL showed that Kerry was leading and then all of a sudden, Bush wins by almost a 400,000 vote margin! 2004 just didn't add up, and an investigation should have been conducted.
An investigation was conducted. It was discovered that the methodology of exit polling was incredibly flawed. In fact, many news outlets were reporting, before the polls closed on election day, that Kerry had leads in many battleground states, a claim that was immediately contested by the Bush campaign. Now who would have benefitted from that erroneous information when the polls were still open? Right....Kerry. Now exit polls are not reported until AFTER the polls officially close.
