@SandblastedNerve I make mine sound a lot better by using subtractive EQ, aka, remove/ quieten the frequencies of the drum that sound like shit! But obviously, you want your kit to sound nice when you play live. If they're ringing then best bet is to add tape, but leave a loose, flappy bit that allows the vibrations to dampen out...message continues in another reply!

@afrofuck thanks man. The top cymbal is a Meinl Generation X 10" Filter China. The bottom one is a shit cymbal that came with my first kit 11 years ago but I like the trashy sound it makes with the Meinl so I kept it.
love the cover and it sounds great but have you tried taking off 2 of your rack toms and getting rid of one of your floor toms? because thats all Dave McClain Had when he recorded that song :) i thought i'd point out in any case good vid
