They are SOOOOO gonna release this in the arcades. I'm 90% sure that this WILL be in the arcades. For us North Americans, we can always just go find an arcade with all the latest japan games, and voila, this will be there if it's released in the arcades :D

now tell me, what was the last major japanese arcade game hit you seen here in america? FPS shooters like time crisis and house of the dead are the only thing i can think of, most arcades didn't bother with the sequel of virtue on. when capcom only bothers to make a SF4 game cause we want it, you gotta think what is a better business proposition: Japan who has grown up with gundam and everyone recognizes it, or america which only a small percentage know about any gundam series

i doubt this game come out on console, its replay value would be too low that only the consumers in japan would consider owning it. dynasty warriors gundam edition is a game that bandai would take a risk on

well they released the gundam vs gundam (cross over?) for the psp, basically the same game. hopefully they'll release this for the ps2. coz the psp/controller is too small for this type of game.

they did release the first one for PSP, but if they didn't bother for PS2 what does this tell you about the sequel? most likely not i'm afraid, you gotta understand that a game like this requires a large amount of licensing, paying the voice actors, not to mention that gundam x, zz, and V have yet to be distribute in america. theres just not much profit to be made, hence a lot of these games will never come to america. anime is still not popular enough to make a profit

the us version isn't important, i stick to the japanese ones. so hopefully they'll release this for the japanese ps2. like rengou vs zaft 1 & 2.

hopefully with more suits from gundam x and gundam 00.

ahh true, i forgot you guys got the the boot up disc for that, they should but i think it may be hard for them to decide that cause it looks like a low replay value game; unless they throw in a ton of extra gundams to unlock they it be a good motivation for PS2. and im surprised the XX wasn't put in it, sometimes i don't understand their roster ideas for these games

They really need to bring these games over to north america. Bandai Namco should be giving us these games rather keeping it to the Japanese. To hell with licensing, it cost nothning but trouble for all of us.

The reason why its not in North America is because 1) theres different bandai regions and because of this, if someone licenced the game in lets say HK, it doesn't mean they licensed it in America. 2) Now why would North America license all the songs, names, suits and voice acting of a series that wasn't really that that that popular in North America.

all true and not to mention your asking bandai japan to take a risk and try to make money on a game and more importantly a series that while is popular in america, will still not make the amount of profit as compared to in japan. its too much red tape and not enough people knowing about the game to not take the risk
