I had so much trouble scoring goals at first, now I'm slightly better but getting 3 or more in a game is still not likely.

For sure, a lot of people say nhl 08 and 09 are the same but they really aren't. You aren't scoring 20 + goals and you have to really develop a strategy to get it in the net, just like real life.
