How to Download/Capture/Save/Rip/Record Streaming Videos

@SupportAlexJones What file format are you trying to play? And did you download a free player? Either the Applian free player or the VLC Player - that's a great free player.

Can you record from the BBC iPlayer with it?

Last I heard. But I know the BBC has been changing the format of their streams recently - and since I am in the US and can't play the iPlayer videos myself I can't check. But you can try it for free in demo mode and see if it works for you. Sound good?

It is absolutely free to record from YouTube but yes you would have to buy it to download from other sites. ;)

So check the following:

1.) Program open before opening browser

2.) Was this a video that's already in your cache

3.) Make sure the site is stream capture-able - go to the applian home page and type in the url - if we have already tested the site we will tell you what programs will work with it - if we haven't already tested the site then we will test it and send you an email...

it doesnt work for me. i click on play video. and it doesntstart recording(even if the recording is on)

Since Hulu started encrypting their stream Replay Media Catcher doesn't work with it anymore. Replay Video Capture works beautifully with Hulu though.
