@muaythaijunky But yeah, horse stance is killer and the other stuff, stances and crap and wrist push ups D: That's inhumane that last thing.
Finger push ups, all this stuff, but it's fucking fun. I'm glad I found a good class. I'm interested in a few muay boran styles, pankration (traditional not the mma that it was made to be nowadays), and a few others. Tons nof good styles that most normal people don't even know how to pronounce or didn't know about, kung fu is interesting.
@LightxKira5643 they muscle all their kicks and from what iv seen the kicks were sloppy and made slapping noises and were your typical ring style if not a bit less. they kinda hit the bag. i sent it flying. they are a tone more bigger and definitely more built and had these vain popping calfs so it confused the hell out of them. its all just technique and hardly muscle. if i had more wind i would have been god to them lol. i can give them this, was a good work out.
@muaythaijunky But yeah, america has tons of crap martial arts. I mean if someone did the training we did for a day, a person who wanted to learn martial arts for fun, they'd have been fucked. We hold horse stance way past the point of pain and do kung fu the way it should be done, with major pain and covered in sweat. Though I'm the second youngest at 18 in the class and the other guy is less than a year younger and then there is 19, 21, and older. So we are all lookikng to get legit.
@LightxKira5643 to be honest im happy the guy that thought me was for real. look up donnie b. he has some utube vids. he was one of the trainers that i mostly learned from. i couldnt do wrist push ups if my life counted on it lol. to find a good muay thai gym is going to be hard now. when the guys saw my kicks today even the main trainer guy was like WTF? 1. the "heavy bags" they had were a tone lighter then what i worked with and 2 the main guy was trying to find how i got so much power.
@LightxKira5643 its......close to where i live and they have equipment i can work with and thats where im at with it at this point. had no idea about the whole lateef crowder and mestre thing. man i could only imagine. run away from that guy like a bitch! lol. any other names out there i should look at for seeing other arts technique? i always like watching and seeing the foot work and the mechanics. seen bruce lees wing chun teacher and even in his age still impressive and quick.
Zero Gravity is a group of martial artists. That's the easiest access you'll really find to pretty good martial artists. 1) People who use martial arts in real fights at high levels aren't stupid enough to post videos on youtube.
2) They just don't want to post videoes
So really the only videos of atleats quality martial artists are either stuntman/actors or is a mestre or something that made videos for their students or students recorded masters/mestres
@muaythaijunky WAit, I did finish the older people are statement.
When you do years of martial arts you learn that speed isn't in explosive solo attacks but in connecting. If you were to go into a competition and see who punchs faster the younger person would win but the older people are superior fighters even without their high flexibility they once had. It's all in connecting moves together, before you finish a move you are going into another move, get effective in that and you get strong
@lordwit6666 Karate can be good but americanized is typically bad, there are quite a few good ones in like japan though that could kick ass. To sporty in america. Like legitly one guy was beating up bulls with it and punching metal.
his elbows are realy lacking in his hips turning in. he is purely muscling it which is no good. that tires you out very quickly and you cant obtain nearl as much force. its the same as boxing punches. all the power comes from the hips. you can do that and drive the elbow in using 45 degree angleing. it works best for getting in close on bigger guys.
@rob01191 your at this point telling me to prove a negative. the negative is being able to show you. iv been training in military/ old style muay thai for 5 years now. look up donnie b. he was my trainer. once you see his technique youll see exactly what i mean. he even covers what i say on the elbows. so now tell me what experience you have? i dont feel like arguing with a key board tough guy or some one with tv experience.
okay... WTF?! a guy doing a normal elbow attack that everybody can do... what;s the point of even posting things like this, like someone doesn't know how to attack with his elbow... -_-''
@UrizenTheNegator .....Im a Muay Thai practitioner, I'd like to see how you would feel after a spinning elbow connects with your dome. I'd give you 5 minutes to pick up ur teeth and we'd go at it again. Muay Thai IS real fighting.
Zuantube if you COULD read then you would see that i said the dutch people, not me. You stupid moron. Next time you make a comment try to think a little bit before you actually post it..
Though unlike you, I hate fighting wimps. I do acouple martial arts and I'm hoping to not go extently into muay thai but learn it enough that I can mix it up in a fight. There are so many strong people out there that don't fight, it's almost sad, all the best fighters are so strong yet not big names. Anyway I do taekwondo (trained by a person who was in the army and was a cop and also did multiple martial arts like muay thai) and high classed karate.
@lordswit6666 I love fighting, even getting punched across the face is exilerating, it's fun. If I get exciting in a fight I don't stop till they drop, I should probally fix that -.-
@lordswit6666 In a normal fight, wait till they hit you first since you can "beat them to a point that it "avoids" conflict"
So your technically meant to fight on the ground then. Which is extremily effective for 1 on 1 versus average to slightly above average people. You use muay thai kicks and stuff too? If not, your completely lopsided and a good martial artist should be able to notice and use that against you even when your in a fight. Plus the way I look at it is:
@lordswit6666 Most fights end up on the ground unless they are two exceptional martial artist. I mean Judo and stuff are to much on the ground but if your fighting someone who is of high caliber, you try to go in and you'll be taken out in one attack effortlessly. You have to get into their zone before you take it to the ground, so generally you leave yourself wide open while you run in to grapple. I find a good knee effective for horrible fighters but there is more you can do to the stronger
@LightxKira5643 most of my fights are on stand up... i dont want to take them to the ground.. since it is a street fight and a lot of people are watching us... my combo is a left jab+right straight and a strong leg kick.. just to wear them out.. and if it think the leg kick has done its effect.. then i go in for the kill...
the fight is then stopped when somebody had enough.. just for sportsmanship maybe.. i want them to hit me 1st so when we go to precinct i will have no case just for defense
@LightxKira5643 yes.. i might as well got lucky in my fights.. haha i know someday my ass will be kicked.. but im ready for that xD as long as there are no weapons involved.. still i can take him down and break his arm xD
@lordswit6666 I wouldn't go that far. There are people out there that are unrealistically strong. -.-
But the good thing is, 99% of people can't fight at all xP
Though weapons are legit martial arts so I'd watch out for people who do weapon martial arts. But yeah, both armed and unarmed are similiar, it's just the reach gets farther, slightly different feel, and the odds are higher like blades.
Fluid motions like water when defending, devastating motions like lightning while attacking.
@lordswit6666 But don't worry, the best fighters won't be fighting you unless you get into serious stuff that involves serious cash. So you should be fine where you are. Since GREAT fighters are either going out for major cash, simply passing down their family art and not trying to beat people up for money, or work for the government. But yeah, those people are unreal, both of us combined wouldn't be a match for one of them. I hope I can get to that level. Which is why I train so hard.
@lordswit6666 Lately I've been trying to learn as many styles as possible and train to a capable level because I've been watching these so called "masters" and they are nothing. But yeah, most masters are fake, true masters are amazing. I mean mastering something means you are perfect in every way in your art, imagine an ancient karate master. Back when Karate wasn't just some two bit gimmick. Back when it was legitamate fist fighting to survive. Same with Muay Boran.
@lordswit6666 So yeah, what I found out is. Master 1 art completely, get above average in many others. But there is no limit to a martial art since you can always get quicker and stronger.
i just fight for defense.. hit me 1st and i will hit you like hell..
i dont start fights xD.. its for defense and not to bring yourself higher..
a lot of fighters today are arrogant.. having that feeling inside you that you can beat somebody is not good.. fighters should be humble.. they should fight not because they hate the person infront of them, but because they love the people behind them...
@lordswit6666 Yes, a lot of the arrogant people are horrible fighters. But then there are the fighters you see hired for large money jobs and stuff, don't mess with those guys. And also the best fighters are hired by the government aswell. Some people deserve to be arrogant though, when your at their level, you deserve to be but some are humble still. Like seriously, there are people who are unrealistically unbelieveable. I mean look at some parkour stuff.
@lordswit6666 I personally fight not for defense, it just feels right to me but I don't go around to kill people or anything. It just feels like it's what I'm here to do, it's so thrilling yet relaxing, it's the best feeling. I even like getting punched across the face. Well either way, I'm hoping to join this one class here in a week or so, hopefully it will be good, they have weapon training too but the main focus is unarmed.
@lordswit6666 Armed is good if both people are armed but if your unarmed you better be multiple times stronger than that armed persons if you plan on winning. But the good thing is that unarmed people have thought of armguards to combat against people with swords, but a good swordsman will beat you either way.
You don't have to worry about the best fighters so you'll just go your whole life with fighting those same people. No training montounge that last 10 seconds but makes you x2 stronger
@LightxKira5643 hahahahaha... i train just on my room.. for stamina.. xD
to be kicked and punched by the best fighters as Fedor,Mirko Cro Cop and Bas rutten... it is an HONOR.. seriously... im from the Philippines.. and maybe someday when my life will be better, im going to their Gym and i want them just to kick me and let me experience pain.. xD
@lordswit6666 You ever see underground muay thai fighting?
Also have you ever seen REAL muay boran masters. Muay boran isn't a flashy fighting ring thing. Muay Boran was used for war, Muay thai was branched from it and it's sole purpose was for ring fighting. But Muay Boran was used for killing. Nai Khanom Tom beat 10 burmese champions in a row one on one without ANY rest inbetween. The best 10 fighters under the Burmese king. Koka-ryu Ninjutsu died with FUjita Seito during WW2.
@lordswit6666 So all the koka-ryu ninjutsu schools you see are fake so don't take ninjutsu now as it was long ago. It's not alike at all. Fujita Seito died with koka-ryu ninjutsu. It was amazing to say the least but now it's only trash though doesn't mean it can't be practical but isn't nearly what it used to be. Savate is pretty good for street fighting ^.^
@LightxKira5643 you have to love the mc dojos ruining every thing. ya i saw a video on guys in france teaching stuff like that. it was ridiculous and were made fun of by japan. this mma and trend stuff has really watered down things. i do military/ old style muay thai. i recommend as you said savate and also ledrit(good luck finding a teacher), krav maga. capoeira is fun to do and fun to watch. i moved to texas and guess what? karate EVERY WHERE lol. wish i could find a good place out here.
@muaythaijunky I just got home from jiu long pai kung fu. I've only recently started this form of kung fu but it's not performance nor sport. We do learn the forms and how they can be effective in battle but we do heavy work outs and learn effective moves. Capoeira actually is great, you get really "effective" muscles and most people who do capoeira to increase their game lift and do heavy worksouts, not buff buff but pretty ripped to a point that it's not really in the way.
@LightxKira5643 stopped by a muay thai place today. it was awful, the teacher was bad at teaching and didnt stop any bad habits early. he didnt correct any of them at all. i watched his technique and easily picked up a few movements he dose before he throws a kick. dead give aways. im going in for the test out day tomorrow and the main guys going to be there so id love to see for sure if its another mma fade place or some real deal stuff. i have serious doubts.
@muaythaijunky Our masters are scared we will poke someones eyes out on instinct cuz we are training to fight. The place dominated all other places in the region in tournaments so they stopped doing it. Well there is 1 other place that could beat us and all but that place is really connected to our place. Like people in our place were also trained in lohan pai and we learn some of that stuff. But these two schools totally rapestomp everyone else, this is kung fu realistic.
@LightxKira5643 gouge out eyes grab balls and tug lol. ya its so different to watch sport after learning some mean shit. its hard to find real kung fu or real martial arts in general any more. teachers nowa days watch a video and practice like what? 72 hrs worth and get certified to teach? lol. the scary thing is when they start teaching how to disarm weapons. idk every one now sees the shorts or a belt and think that means some thing. no belts where i trained, just technique and efficiency.
@muaythaijunky Capoeira is devotion to thegroup with their cords.
Like: you deserve a promotion cuz you are loyal to the group and all
But then if you go missing for a few years from the group lol, they will demote you tons.
It's about skill and devotion.
We do chambers and stuff in kung fu. But yeah, they don't teach us animal styles at first or anything, we have to get to the chambers for that but we do learn tons of effective moves.
@LightxKira5643 i have allot of respect for capoeira. ever see lateef crowder? a beast! ones that i feel that may have at one point been good and are crap(as far as iv seen in America) is karate and TKD. i call most mc dojos because well..... thats what they are. sense mma has muay thai more out there its becoming the next fad mc dojo. i went in today and was winded like hell, im out of shape lol. decent ring style and they were allot better then the other guy.
and @ all the posts here, you are trying to say that he sucks while you live in countries where most people suck at muay thai and you try to tell him that he sucks? how sad is that
Yall some dumbasses!! He's showing you the techniques..he's not tryin to audiotion for a movie! HGe not tryin to impress Tony Jaa! Dumbass He's showing you the techniques for biginners!
Do they really need to play the rock music too scare me? He's intimidating enough as it is.

@muaythaijunky Well that's good to hear that you found a good one right?
Lateef Crowder I obviously know about, Zero Gravity group.
Anyway, he's like a prefessor rank only, the mestre beat hiim up all the time.
He's very good but there are many better out there actually just to let you to know.

You don't have to worry about the best fighters so you'll just go your whole life with fighting those same people. No training montounge that last 10 seconds but makes you x2 stronger

@LightxKira5643 hahahahaha... i train just on my room.. for stamina.. xD
to be kicked and punched by the best fighters as Fedor,Mirko Cro Cop and Bas rutten... it is an HONOR.. seriously... im from the Philippines.. and maybe someday when my life will be better, im going to their Gym and i want them just to kick me and let me experience pain.. xD

@lordswit6666 Those are quality fighters but aren't the best in the world.

LightxKira5643 1 year ago

@LightxKira5643 stopped by a muay thai place today. it was awful, the teacher was bad at teaching and didnt stop any bad habits early. he didnt correct any of them at all. i watched his technique and easily picked up a few movements he dose before he throws a kick. dead give aways. im going in for the test out day tomorrow and the main guys going to be there so id love to see for sure if its another mma fade place or some real deal stuff. i have serious doubts.
muaythaijunky 6 months ago
@muaythaijunky Our masters are scared we will poke someones eyes out on instinct cuz we are training to fight. The place dominated all other places in the region in tournaments so they stopped doing it. Well there is 1 other place that could beat us and all but that place is really connected to our place. Like people in our place were also trained in lohan pai and we learn some of that stuff. But these two schools totally rapestomp everyone else, this is kung fu realistic.
LightxKira5643 6 months ago

Holland is the best at the Muay Thai, they have the most prices, and world titles,
Just because people from Thailand aren't really build well for Muay Thai, in the opposite of the Dutch people.
