  • I decided I can't vote for Paul due to his anti-regulation stance. Hasn't he heard what hydraulic fracturing is doing to people's homes due to exemptions from the Clean Air and Water Acts? What sort of magical thinking does Paul's supporters subscribe to that makes them think everything will improve without regulations? People have water that catches fire and the fracking companies just have to say it's not their fault and without regulations there is no recourse!

  • medicare for all- Nader for Paul against Minimum wage- Nader for Paul against High taxes on the rich Nader for Paul against Banking regulations Nader for Paul against. Nader is right on all these key issues ad Paul is wrong, I dont get why Paul supporters think these two are so similar

  • Judging by the interview, Ralph knows more about this network than this condescending interviewer.

  • "Job draining foreign trade agreements" ....amen brother.

  • i like a in-between of jon huntsman and gary johnson, but neither is capable of winning, so vote ron paul.

  • It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"

PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.

IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION ! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE ! PLEASE !

WE NEED EVERY LAST VOTE ! Copy & paste this everywhere and THUMBS UP!

  • Ron Paul wants the Federal reserve stopped, then the rest will follow and controls will then take affect . Leave the Fed intact and they will use criminal methods to side step any regulations.

  • @simpaticaism I think you've got the cart before the horse. The Fed never would have gained the power it has if we hadn't been running deficits for most of 80 years. If the budget is not not balanced and there is no Fed, how would you propose to finance the deficits? Go begging to the Bank of China?

  • He's not saying "Ron Paul Is An Excellent Presidential Candidate " He's saying Ron Paul is talking about some issues that should be talked about, like getting out of Iraq & Afghanistan,.. But Ralph Nader wouldn't vote for Ron Paul. LISTEN TO WHAT HE'S SAYING!!! He said that these banks should be taxed for derivative trading, and there should be more regulation of it,.. These are things that Ron Paul would never endorse. Ralph Nader know that we need government to regulate the corporations

  • @cciemail Governments do not "regulate" big business. Government works in collusion with big corporations to screw over consumers and small businesses. The federal reserve gives out trillions of dollars of secretive loans to banks to make a profit. Big government gave the banks the bailouts and ensures they make a profit. Government is not your friend and they';ve proven time and time again they can't be trusted to regukate anything. Those banks would have gone bankrupt without Washington.

  • @bschou

I didn't agree with the bank bailouts. that's not regulation either. actually there are some regulatory laws in place. it's just that they're not being enforced. and the regulations were watered down. and the derivatives practice got much more complex, so there are a lot more loopholes now. during the S&L crisis, there were something like 60 convictions. during this current crisis, which was caused by this complex derivatives scheme, there have been no convictions.

  • I won't support Obama, Paul or any Repugnican. They ignore women's opinions. All they see are dollar signs, like most men. It's disgusting. This male-dominated civilization is rotten with corruption and collapsing. It's no loss. More women than ever are anarchists because most "leaders" are arrogant, greedy, stingy men who ignore our opinions. Who made them God? No one of sound mind. Next they'll blame women for letting them abuse us for centuries. They "helped" us by making us slaves.

  • @asynkronos What kind of meandering diatribe of nonsense.

You need to get out more.

  • I voted for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries in 2008, and then voted for Nader in the presidential election. This year I will be voting for Ron Paul again and WRITING HIS NAME IN if he doesn't get the Republican nomination.

  • This is like a Kiss of Death for Ron Paul. Nader has been a wack job since the 60s. Ron had best hope that not too many folks hear about this.

  • @MrStrictlyStock I really don't know anything about Nader other than he had Slick Willie wetting his Jockeys years ago because he felt Nader would cost him his chances of re-election. Anyone who distresses Slick Willy has SOME redeemable qualities. Ron Paul has the ability to steal votes from the Dumbocrats not only by way of the Independents but also from some life long Dumbocrats. It's really hard to label the guy conservative or liberal in the traditional modern sense of either term.

  • @BradNC11175 He got his initial fame attacking the Corvair (a Chevrolet product) in his book: "Unsafe at Any Speed". That may well have been the beginning of the Nanny State mentality. I've driven Corvairs an Nader was just full of shit.

He "graduated" to environmental issues (mostly bogus) and managed to throw invective at big corps from time to time. The sumbitch never had a real job, and hasn't a clue how the real world works.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian, offending both Libs and Conservat

  • @MrStrictlyStock Sounds like a bunch of that kinda bull shit was going on back in the 70s- early 80s before my time or before I was old enough to give a shit. There is a video on Youtube you'd enjoy where Milton Friedman was speaking before college students back in the day and a very young, believe it or not, even thin Micheal Moore tried to bring up automobile consumer issues and Friedman owned the little bastard. When Nader identified himself as a "progressive" there he made my shit list.

  • @BradNC11175 Moore has since acquired much more effective tools of indoctrination (phony documentaries) than his own incompetent mouth.

Bush II was a disaster, but Algor would have been far worse. As close as that election was, Algor woud have won had Nader not siphoned off considerable votes. For that, I suppose we can give the old Ass Clown a pat on the back.

Interestingly, PrezBO correctly noticed the defection of the environmental wackos and folded them into his Hope and Change flock.

  • @MrStrictlyStock I agree with you 110% on Bush II/Gore. Al Gore is just plain and simple: an evil man and a huckster of fraud. One positive I can say for Bush II is he set back Slick Willie's gun grabbing agenda and the hopes and dreams of a gun free America for the anti gun community by overturning and allowing to expire many of Slick Willie's anti gun laws/provisions. No question Al Gore would have gleefully finished what Slick Willie started: an end to the 2nd Amendment as we know it.

  • @BradNC11175 One of the few things Bush II did right was nominating Chief Justice Roberts. Of course, that was after the dumb ass tried to appoint his White House lawyer.

PrezBO has appointed two gun confiscators, at least one of which believes International Law should be deferred to. If Algor had gotten in, the Supremes would have already outlawed guns.

Those threatening to sit out the coming election or vote third party would do very well to consider Supreme Court appointments.

  • @MrStrictlyStock Rick Perry is a former campaign organizer for Al Gore and former Democrat I don't trust him with my gun rights. One of the gun rights groups submitted a survey to each of the candidates running for the GOP nomination to find out their stances on the 2nd Amendment. All candidates with the acception of Perry and Cain quickly responded with satisfactory responses, neither Perry or Cain responded. Romney is a pinko/globalist trojan horse. So as gun owners what are our options?

  • @BradNC11175 Perry also voted for Jimmy Carter. Anybody choosing to vote for Carter rather thgan Reagan has got a whole lotta 'splainin' to do.

Without knowing how significant the gun rights group is, I have no opinion on Herman's action. Had it been the NRA, I would seriously question a no response. But I myself get solicited for membership by some new gun group it seems every month. It's like they're coming out of the woodwork right now.

  • @MrStrictlyStock I can't recollect the group, it was not the NRA but one of the other big ones. I got their news letter via email about that survey and the responses. If it was big enough for Romney, Gingrich, Huntsman, Santorum, Bachmann & Paul to respond post haste why would it not have been equally as pressing for Cain & Perry? Of course Romney is a double talker not to be trusted of course so I consider his response moot. Perry campaigned for Gore AGAINST REAGAN'S reelection!

  • @BradNC11175 In that case, I can't speak for Herman. My curiousity is piqued.

  • @MrStrictlyStock If a lying Bush bastard about 20 years ago who ran as a Republican could say "READ MY LIPS... NO NEW TAXES" and then do the unthinkable I suppose any of them could do the same on any issue. Of course I remain a loyal Ron Paul guy, he has been consistant for 30 years but that is no guarantee that he would be consistant after taking to Oval Office either. Paul's biggest problem, if elected, is so many Paulites will expect miracles and last I checked his last name wasn't Christ.

  • @BradNC11175 Being a Libertarian, he is far too liberal on Social issues to suit me. I about fell outta my chair when he said legalizing heroin would be no big deal. He also has a poor grasp of Islam. He seems to believe that if we just leave them alone, they will merrily do the same. Other than that, he's pretty spot on. To my recollection, he's never voted for a budget in deficit. That alone would shut down all the power the Fed has.

  • @MrStrictlyStock Paul merely pointed out that prohibition of narcotics is a failure because those who want to do heroin and other narcotics will do them with or without prohibition increasing the gains for criminals. He pointed out most of us know heroin is a terrible drug and won't use it regardless of it's legality. An end of federal prohibition won't end state and/or local prohibitions. Similar is his stance on gay marriage. He just wants the Feds out of our lives as do most libertarians.

  • @MrStrictlyStock The libertarian view is truely the anti nanny state. The problem with the nanny state is if you give the government an inch they take a mile. It starts with telling you who you can/can't marry and next it tells you how you can/can't dicipline your child. It starts with drug prohibition and then there is smoking bans next thing you know they tell you what you can/can't eat. In their mind they know best and the libtard progressives work dillgently to convince us this be the case.

  • @MrStrictlyStock The issue of drug control is a serious one. The drug war forces drug addicts who would otherwise seek treatment into hiding for fear of being arrested. Drugs become a black market commodity enanbling powerful underground forces to arise to take control of that market. if drugs were legal they'd be far easier to regulate. Besidess it;s amoral to throw someone in jail for making a foolish decision about their personal habits

  • ron paul gets the republican nomination, he's got my vote hands down.

  • Ralph Nader has fallen over the edge. Ron Paul is just a nutjob.

  • @local2458 What has Ron Paul said that makes him a nut job? He might be a little extreme for your taste but he is perfectly sane.

  • @local2458 If you use "nutjob" and "Ron Paul" in the same sentence, there's a good chance that you're retarded. You should go get checked for that.

  • If Ron Paul doesn't win I'll just vote independent for ralph nader like i did in 2008. Don't care if it's a wasted vote cause no one can win independent unless there as rich as bill gates.

  • Ralph Nader. . . Proudly pissing off democrats for decades.

  • cnn does a great job of hiring geniuses like this anchor who, after repeated attempts, failed to understand the simple nature of what nader was proposing. i'd love to see the hiring criteria at cnn.
