Glad you enjoyed it. You can buy a relatively inexpensive PC software package called "Magix Movie Pro 11" which is pretty affordable and easy to use for anybody really and you can do everything on your home PC. Or the more professional and industrial software called "Adobe Premier Pro" although that is quite very expensive and you'll need a proper basic editing suite setup for that for max results. Try 'Magix 11'its not too bad... Good luck! :)

Sounds cool. The program FCP that I used is industrial standard, but can be used at home with a Mac if you have all the right equipment. I did it in an editing studio.

Thanks very much Sakerrst for your cool comments and question. The bit in the newspaper Snape had is a manipulated frame layer containing that footage you see within it and is then placed "on top" of the main sequence clip (movie footage). It is not as easy as it sounds, but it's definitely fun!
