  • CS Lewis was brilliant. Loved the analogies the professor gave. Even though simplified in the cartoon, the message still got across.

  • Jeez... the queen has anger management problems

  • @passionsfanNBC I think Edmund was so easily manipulated partly because he's little. He's really not too big--the book says that he was only a year older than Lucy. That is to say, if Lucy was five years old here, he'd only be six. xD

  • edmund the little cocksucker

  • illuminati, satanic subliminals throughout

  • SMH Edmund is a ass

  • lucy is so cute!

  • Which animation is kookier: this animation, or Bakshmi's Lord of the Rings?

  • @cleanhomer Lord of the Rings definitely, that one freaked me out.....

  • I used to watch this allllll the time when I was suuper little.I still love it. Susan and Peter's faces at 6:06 are hilarious btw hahaa.

  • @BrittTSR tooooo true LMFAO that is tooo hilarious

  • The White Witch is one stupid bitch to think that Edmond's brother and sisters would come with him to a castle in the other world just to be going with him because he has a suprise to show them.

  • I'd like to see the ice queen's army fight the blue meanies.

  • the professors cat looks so hilariousxD

  • this is exacly that the movie. andrew adamson is a big plagiarist. I now understand why it was a failure Prince Caspian

  • @Brandish728

they're looking at the audience, or maybe just the walls of the house...I always got so freaked out at that part as a kid!

  • why does susan have such a weirdly-shaped head? its like pointy on top..

  • The witch is bipolar.

  • Wtf is a Turkish Delight????

  • @vlvtrp It is a young, nubile 20 year aged tanned and muscular pool boy with tousled thick black hair and it is packaged in a thin white thong for presenting.

  • @vlvtrp He originates in Istanbul, hence the moniker 'Turkish Delight'.

  • lol...QUIET YOU!

  • @shinyguru Gee Mr. Peabody!

  • 9:13 they changed the wolf's name? WHAT? That's weird... normally when movies are changed in relation to books they have a reason.

  • Actually, it's not the moviemakers who made this change... it comes from early US editions of the Narnia books, which had several minor alterations from the original UK ones -- among the more notable ones was that the character Maugrim was renamed "Fenris Ulf." (Since 1994, the American editions have gone back to the original name, though.)

So they are actually following the book here, just a different edition.

  • 6:06 Who are they looking at? :o The old man was to the girl's left and she turned to the right. The animation looks spot on from how I first saw this. The blurriness is probably because of youtube's vid quality crappifier.

  • LOL they're looking at the camera like in cheesy live-action movies when something shocking happens!

  • I remember the animation being a lot better. LOL

  • Edmond was a mean kid..

  • Where is a psychotic pedophile when you need one, eh?

  • EDMUNDS A B*TCH!

  • Man I used to watch this around christmastime. The witch used to scare the hell outta me. Had me scared of eating turkish delight

  • peters voice just sounds...wrong, but other than that it's an awesome movie .. :'D

  • 4:02 Oh snap!

  • u stupid lol

  • I remember seeing this when i was little! It's kinda weird seeing this now, but it does bring back childhood memories (mostly of me pretending that my closet was the magical entrance and that i was the Queen of Narnia...I annoyed the hell out of my mom).

  • I might have to be very ANGRY with you if you come alone.

  • When Peter and Susan first walk into Narnia, they do it so nonchalantly.... like it's just another world and nothing special. No shocked reactions, no apologies to Lucy... tut tut. The Queen however is my favorite of the versions of the book. She is so me curial, abrasive and imperious. Very funny!

In the book, when Edmund talks to himself he refers to his siblings as "selfish prigs".

    Children are nice.

  • This animated version; the Queen is so fierce and wicked, she is a riot...

  • Edmund so should be a blonde.

  • edmund does'int look like i imagined

  • "Could I have one more turkish delight before I go home?"

    "NO!"*Gets all spikey*

haha. roflmfao. I always used to die of laughter at that scene when I was little. It was the hilight of my viewing.

  • funny right. what is this waste this self-edulgance haha

  • haha yeah, but i loved it as a kid.

  • Every time Peter yells at Edmund or reprimands him, I laugh. "Quiet you" *points at no good lying, deceptive younger brother* HILARIOUS.

  • The weirdest thing is that they have different accents and they're supposed to be brothers and sisters. Someone wasn't on the ball when they cast the voice actors or gave them poor, poor direction. I'd say both. LOL. I mean, was Edmund raised in Australia and the rest in America? Maybe it's because he was sent to some special obedience school for acting like such a jerk.

  • i remember seeing this once on the disney channel.

  • most likely out of business now.

    i dont really know

  • It was made by none other than the same people who made the Charle Brown specials.

  • its my best memories

  • the white witch used to scare the sh!t outta me when i was little. but her little dwarf/goblin/troll driver man is awesome. i love the little grunts and noises he makes.

  • Why has Edmund got an Australian accent?!

  • Edmund acts like a little punk - he oughta get bitch-slapped around for it. XD

  • HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! yes they do kinda sound ROBO like.

  • The Witch..What a b....!! Talk about a bad case of P.M.S!!lol..

  • I just realized after over 20 years of watching this many times... If Edmund wanted his turkish delight and be prince... Then why didn't he tell Peter and Susan that he had been there. Why did he say, it was just pretend...

  • In the book, he just couldn't resist the fun of screwing with lucy, the little jerk

  • edmund is a bad boy edmund is a bad boy he make fun of his brother and his sisters

  • why is it that with siblings, there is always gotta be one f^^cked up one. LIke Edmund, for example.

  • thanks sooooo much for putting this up, used to watch this all the time when i was a kid.

the american dub is much better, the witch is sooooo evil sounding :D

  • I saw this version first, and I like this Witch better. She's so bombastic, and has a bit more oomph to her voice I think.

  • it SHOULD be in British, cuz well, they;re from london right?

  • That is true. They have no accents at all.

  • Hey, man. USA forever!!!

    Love it or leave it.

    e.

  • Yeah I think they sound quite robotic in this one.

  • :( This witch is rubbish. The British one is sooo much more insane and eccentric. :(

  • I love animation from this period, you know like Yellow Submarine, Fantastic Planet, Terry Gilliam from Monty Python, etc.

  • i think it all depemds on what accents you listened too at the start, i prefer this version to the british one

  • ME TOO!!!!:D

  • So far for me it's ranking above BBC and below Disney.
