When Graf got her 2 wins over Venus and one over Serena, they were SLAMLESS....mere shadows of their year 2000+ selves.

And with all that said, her wins over the sisters were CLOSE!...You people act as if she dominated them off the court....and you neglect the fact that Graf was expected to win those encounters, and she still managed to lose 2 of the 5.

You Graf fans are so delsuional. Even this video proves that. Look at Date's shots...then look at her shots at Wimbledon THIS year....THE SAME PACE.

Which further proves my point that technology helps more with spin and control, NOT power...power mostly comes from the person, and a racket can only do so much to enhance that.

With all that said, Steffi with a racket of today might have a better slice, but she would never get the opportunity to use it, thanks to the current WTA power.

I think the quality of women's tennis has gotten just as bad as when this match took place, in the mid-1990s. No one to challenge Steffi, Steffi wins anything and everything, and absolutely pathetic depth in the women's game. Kind of like right now...
