@fijiization what's wrong with beautiful music that glorifies our Lord?! Songs are for praising God not conviction, although there are some convicting songs, that doesn't mean the rest is bad! We are objects of grace and there is nothing bad in thanking God for His grace! We have the law to convict us, but that doesn't mean all praise and worship songs must be about the law! its not like they didn't mention sin even.
@fijiization I know what you mean about these songs making you feel emotional that can lead you into thinking it is God when it is just your emotions(but not all the time).
But these songs are like meditation, we use these to tune in with God. It's helps us receive and project Gods love unto others and also this music that we sing and dance to is praise and worship to God!

Anyways, thought I would let you know that I have been through the wilderness many times and I have come out stronger. From my experience, I don't like Gods tests but they are for the best, I always become closer to him :) The closer you get to Jesus the harder it becomes, Satan and his buddies give you a harder time but God is always there to rely on.

Salvation is given by grace of God but received with deeds through faith. Neither of these should be removed.
Just as you show grace to the hungry and gave food to them, they will never be filled unless they believe the food is food and they will never be filled unless they acted, taking the food they believe and eat it.
Salvation by grace means its not about your acts that changed the will of God that God forgave you but it is God who out of His mercy choose to forgive first.
Salvation by grace is as such:
Grace -> Faith -> Deeds
But salvation by deeds is as such:
Faith -> Deeds -> Grace
And there is no such thing as 'grace' if it is earned through deeds. Grace means whatever you do is insufficient yet still received. That does not mean deeds not important.

Romans 8:1 states, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" This is a double confirmation of our eternal redemption. "is therefore" and "now" are two affirmatives meaning that after you are saved, sin that follows does not affect your standing with God. "Now" always being at the present time no matter when that time is.
just sharing my opinion hope you don't mind as I believe we need to know some fundamental belief in Christianity as they are many doctrines out there including 'cheap doctrine' that one can live sinfully & be saved.
John 3:16 is saying about 'believe in' Jesus rather than 'believe' Jesus. It means different thing. To believe in someone, you let that person lead you. However, believing someone does not need follow. So no one that let Christ lead should sin against Him.
And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Therefore we need to understand that Colossians 2:13 is stating all sins will be forgiven when one repented and sincerely allow Christ to lead him.
Of course no one can be sinless but what happens is the heart. Love is the fulfillment of the law (Rom 13:10). If we love God, we will not go against Him deliberately for self gains.
If you refer to the Book of James, it clearly says that salvation comes not with mere belief. Even demons believe there is God. Thus, even if a Christian believe Jesus is Christ but do not submit to His Lordship, it is of no difference than demons recognizing that but not being submissive.
Its not about having committed blasphemy. It is about committing blasphemy in which there is no will of repentance. Blasphemy in spirit is referring to rebellious heart.

The issue was being under OBEDIENCE, and doing all things orderly in church..WHICH IS NOT UNIQUE TO WOMEN, BUT ALL BELIEVERS.
"Women are to be silent in church. If they have any questions, they are to ask their husbands at home. It is a shame for women to speak in church". 1 Corinthians 14:34-35. How can anyone claim that the belief that 'women are inferior to men' is an un-Christian belief?

I have an addiction to masturbation, and i do it so often that i feel so guilty, and sometimes i think i did too many sins that God may not forgive me anymore. I always wanted to destroy this addiction but it seems that it already took control of me. Guys, I need help. Any advices on how to overcome this habit? I think God is really mad at me and won't forgive me anymore. Whenever I ask for forgiveness, I still feel empty. Please help me. Anyone!
Jesus said we have to forgive our brother 7 times 70 and so will he forgive us. It may not surprise you that he already knows every step and event in our lives and when exactly we will surrender before him completely. hey i know what you mean Aldous. i have a problem like that in a sense. my b/f and i have been abstaining for almost a yr now and its going good but sometimes kissing gets out of control so we've stopped doing it as often too just to avoid the temptation. What i wld suggest is to keep a distance to whatever may trigger the urge to do it in the first place. Eg; magazines, certain movies, friends even. spend time in the word. I'm sure you will feel God's presence if u're buried in his word.

I have never met more loving, caring and compassionate people than my christian friends. and what i love is that if I have a problem i could go to them and they'd be like "me too". then we just read the word and let God solve our problem(s) for us. I guess when we walk with Christ we adopt his nature. Just imaging how caring God is if we are only humans

@fijiization what's wrong with beautiful music that glorifies our Lord?! Songs are for praising God not conviction, although there are some convicting songs, that doesn't mean the rest is bad! We are objects of grace and there is nothing bad in thanking God for His grace! We have the law to convict us, but that doesn't mean all praise and worship songs must be about the law! its not like they didn't mention sin even.

If anyone argued and choose either of them. They will enter a state of false belief.
Salvation is given by grace of God but received with deeds through faith. Neither of these should be removed.
Just as you show grace to the hungry and gave food to them, they will never be filled unless they believe the food is food and they will never be filled unless they acted, taking the food they believe and eat it.

Salvation by grace means its not about your acts that changed the will of God that God forgave you but it is God who out of His mercy choose to forgive first.
Salvation by grace is as such:
Grace -> Faith -> Deeds
But salvation by deeds is as such:
Faith -> Deeds -> Grace
And there is no such thing as 'grace' if it is earned through deeds. Grace means whatever you do is insufficient yet still received. That does not mean deeds not important.

anniewengweng-No there is no sin that will not be forgiven. Colossians 2:13 states, "having forgiven us ALL our transgressions (sins)". Romans 8:1 states, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" This is a double confirmation of our eternal redemption. "is therefore" and "now" are two affirmatives meaning that after you are saved, sin that follows does not affect your standing with God. "Now" always being at the present time no matter when that time is.

just sharing my opinion hope you don't mind as I believe we need to know some fundamental belief in Christianity as they are many doctrines out there including 'cheap doctrine' that one can live sinfully & be saved.
John 3:16 is saying about 'believe in' Jesus rather than 'believe' Jesus. It means different thing. To believe in someone, you let that person lead you. However, believing someone does not need follow. So no one that let Christ lead should sin against Him.

Therefore we need to understand that Colossians 2:13 is stating all sins will be forgiven when one repented and sincerely allow Christ to lead him.
Of course no one can be sinless but what happens is the heart. Love is the fulfillment of the law (Rom 13:10). If we love God, we will not go against Him deliberately for self gains.

If you refer to the Book of James, it clearly says that salvation comes not with mere belief. Even demons believe there is God. Thus, even if a Christian believe Jesus is Christ but do not submit to His Lordship, it is of no difference than demons recognizing that but not being submissive.
Its not about having committed blasphemy. It is about committing blasphemy in which there is no will of repentance. Blasphemy in spirit is referring to rebellious heart.

All the debating that is happening is not of God. Annoyance, Hatred, Anger, these feelings and emotions are not of God.
What we all need to do is close our eyes, pray and repent for all the things that have gotten in the way of praising Him.
How can we go out into the world and tell people of His love when we do not show it? Wake up, and see the wrongs we do!
He, out of the goodness of His heart, forgives us! So everyone, realize that we need that forgiveness, and go to Him!

The issue was being under OBEDIENCE, and doing all things orderly in church..WHICH IS NOT UNIQUE TO WOMEN, BUT ALL BELIEVERS.

hey i know what you mean Aldous. i have a problem like that in a sense. my b/f and i have been abstaining for almost a yr now and its going good but sometimes kissing gets out of control so we've stopped doing it as often too just to avoid the temptation. What i wld suggest is to keep a distance to whatever may trigger the urge to do it in the first place. Eg; magazines, certain movies, friends even. spend time in the word. I'm sure you will feel God's presence if u're buried in his word.

I have never met more loving, caring and compassionate people than my christian friends. and what i love is that if I have a problem i could go to them and they'd be like "me too". then we just read the word and let God solve our problem(s) for us.
