The bass player here is Ralf Vornberger , He is the bass player and vocal of ELECTRIC LIGHT BAND, It is another band where Phil Bates sometimes plays in Germany and formed in 2003. They play ELO -ELO2 and Phil Bates songs to. You can find info in Phil Bates website.

Lois Clark is still there (the one conducting the orchestra-the other string players) so he's not alone and FYI - Lou, Eric, Mik, and Phil have been playing together since the early nineties. It has been almost twenty years of music together and they play a gig almost every night and have been for many years. All listeners should keep in mind that the material is quite demanding especially vocally and they do an outstanding job of covering it. "Keep up the amazing work guys! We love it!!!!!!"
