I cannot believe that they are really going to put all 1400 video responses on the actual DVD. Critics will have a field day. This is not attractive at all. Just more of the terrible promotional ideas related to this excellent film.

The marketing for the film was terrible, which is why it did so poorly in the theaters. Notice that there is no mention of when the DVD will be released.

I kept receiving emails that trashed the film, trashed the ideas, all from the supposed marketing manager. For people who have never read Ayn Rand's books, this group stating that they are John Galt will have no meaning whatsoever. In fact, I find it somewhat annoying. Word of mouth, same as the book, will promote the films.

@tuxguys, Atlas Shrugged II website has been bought and is being assembled. So I assume that that movie it's in pre-production. The current timeline is Atlas Shrugged II will be released in November of 2012.

If so, it will be a nice counterweight to the "Obama Kills Bin Laden" movie that is scheduled to be released right before the election.

@tuxguys, the only thing that can get Obama re-elected is an independent conservative third party candidate that splits the Republican vote. Maybe that's why Trump's new wholesome family image was announced on the Oprah Winfrey show a week before he entered the presidential fray. Trump recently changed from republican to independent. He said it's to ensure that Obama is defeated. I wonder if Trump's logic is related to his 120M NBC Apprentice 2011 contract funded by Obama's GE stimulus package.

@iamgabrielf, Trump spends more time trashing Republicans than Obama. He presents his presidential campaign on Fox News and other conservative outlets, avoiding left wing media like the plague. It's painfully obvious that he's recruiting Republican voters to his independent campaign. It should be very obvious to anyone who pays attention that Trump is attempting to Ross Perot the Republicans in order to get Obama re-elected.

I'm with you: Eyes On The Prize. No third party candidate can win the election, and any candidate that the Republican fields, no matter how many shortcomings he or she may be perceived to have, will be infinitely preferable to a second BHO term in office.

Even a successful challenge to BHO by Hillary would be (slightly) preferable to a second BHO term... she's a Collectivist as well, but at least she's (more of) a realist regarding national security.
