If there's one thing Trent Reznor can do, it's branch out, and not be repetitive.

This song is almost comparable to an orchestra sort of "hurt", reminds me of a Poe piece, Annabelle Lee maybe, with the "Sepulcher by the sounding sea" phrases. And again, just like Even Deeper, it's largely 3 chords but he'd adding this low, unsettling sound with this Mellotron that makes it sound almost Baroque, just completely and utterly laden with Ennui, shaken fear, uncertainty and tragedy. Trents viscera on display in the hopes that there are others out there who see the blood and care.
