thru accident or design there are some really good moment in thsi movie that shine through DW history. that TARDIS design is goregeous. the Doctor kissing Grace. yeah it was an unbelievable thing BUT it took a bullet and opened to door tot he idea of the Doctor and romance in the new series something which was avoided in the original run,
Paul McGann was a good Doctor, just too bad the script he had to work with was so godawful. I'd love to see a serial with McGann, Eccleston, Tennant and Smith.
So...I am confused. He went back in time to the day before, when Lee and Grace were not dead, and they came back to life? So doesn't that mean the Master should still be alive too? Then again is he even dead? Or just in the Doctor's TARDIS somewhere? I can't believe they don't address that in the New Who...
@mabiniss2 nope, the time war was based in this time but no video/episode of it happened so thats why mcgann regenerated into eccleson due to the time war.
I hope McGann comes back. Although I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the 50th Anniversary thats coming up in 2013, a multi doctor adventure, great if it was all eleven doctors but sadly I don't think that would be possible, unless the first three were cgi in or played by some really good actors. Hopefully not, maybe a four doctors 8, 9, 10 & 11. Heres hoping
I agree with the "McGann would've been a great Doctor!" Camp. Charming, gregarious, loquacious, and best of all, he looks great here. The Doctor's always had a unique fashion sense. :)
Hmm. Not liking the whole 'bringing the companions back to life' thing, but other than that it wasn't a horrible story. I'd like to learn more about this Doctor - and need to look up his audiobooks.
"The Five New Doctors" I like the sound of that. Though the first one wasn't really the five doctors as Tom Baker was in it for like three seconds all together XD
The Doctor, Grace & Chang Lee - the time team that never was. So much potential that was squandered. BBC Books could have used this team in their 8th Doctor series. It would have been INFINITELY better the Sam Jones.
Everyone kept saying it wasn't that good and that paul mcgann isn't that good, but there wrong, its quite good, except for the master in this its alright.
all in all i liked the movie and it wasn't as stupid as i've heard. I didn't think it was stupid and as a big Doctor Who film it was worth the watch. I thought the inside of the Tardis was a bit crazy and i didn't care for Eric Roberts as The Master, but Paul Mcgann just made his way into being onf of my favorite Doctors. The first is of course the Tenth- David Tennant!
the end is just were the walk off both ways so nothing happends sorry but Im gonna give you a secret. Im uploading again but its not gonna be like this :)

Too bad there's a continuity error going on here because McGann knew about Gallifrey still existing, yet Eccleston didn't.

@mabiniss2 Nine knew Gallifrey existed. He was the one who time-locked it. (Unless that was Eight.)

Growling's a bit silly and unnecessary. I enjoyed this film overall, though.

Paul McGann was pretty good, but dodgy supporting actors. Really hated Eric Roberts as the Master especially.

Paul McGann was brilliant... I'd love to see him in a movie with one of Russell T. Davis' scripts.

so...time war takes place after this?
Selana 2 years ago
Some unknown amount of time after this, yes. The general theory is that the Eighth Doctor regenerated shortly after Gallifrey went boom.

Lol yes the Doctor is right..the Tardis is a sentimental old thing! Not bad for a living ship :o)
