  • That's great, but what about for those of us who don't have a tv to check to see if our ad ran?

  • killuminati.isgreat.org

  • Fairly fake and unbelievable. Also quite homosexual.

  • thats pretty sick.

  • 1300 dollars for 1000 visitors is waaaaaaay more expense than profit, however its actually pretty cool. Trolling attempts inbound.

  • Nice tele

  • P.S.: 1:38 Your commercial wasnt awesome at all...

  • This is going to cause the quality of TV ads to drop SEVERELY, causing the public's tolerance of TV ads to drop SEVERELY.

  • @Braundzign Which is fine, because I already have zero tolerance for TV in general. Maybe it'll get folks to stop watching that shit.

  • @lilwyvern4 Surfing YouTube and playing World of Warcraft isn't any better for your brain.

  • @Braundzign "surfing"? is it 1998 again?

  • @BeatlesFan32 "Beatles fan"? Is it 1968 again?

  • @Braundzign probably

  • @Braundzign you're joking right? You are actually arguing against making it easier for small organizations/individuals to gain access to the TV ad market? In our society, the plutocracy where money is contaminating everything from healthcare to politics to prisons to the military...you are prioritizing the "quality" of ads over leveling the playing field? Why are you even on the internet if you are so concerned about "quality"?

  • First: this was forwarded to me at work. It's a relative tidbit in the ad industry. I'm very aware that "quality" on the internet is shit. Second: If you think inundating TV with schlockly ads by every org. with a cause and a few dollars will change anything of importance in America, you're a nut, so get off your political high-horse. I wasn't making a political statement. People ignore PSAs with GOOD production quality, they're not going to respond to an additional ton of shitty ones.

  • @Braundzign This video is from over a year ago. If there was going to be any effect, you'd have noticed already.

  • @macoronikevin You're right. Everything happens immediately or not at all.

  • I wonder if they had rights to all the footage they used in their :30

  • I ONLY WATCHED THIS VIDEO BECAUSE I NOTICED THAT HIS LAPTOP IS APPLE, THEREFORE THIS IS HIP. WHAT A FUNNY COINCIDENCE THAT THE COMPUTER BRANDING WAS CAUGHT IN FRAME!

  • Comment removed

  • @maxleesaus Are you for real?

  • Now that the ad buy is over, Slate can test whether the secondary publicity for the ad campaign generated by this video delivers more unique visitors than the TV campaign itself.

  • Is there any regulation the ads go through once they're uploaded by google's service, especially considering that they air on major networks like Fox which may seem like referents to the morality or value of the those ads?

  • thats actually cool

  • Yeah, like $1.30 per site visitor is a good investment at all...

  • @aSongScout If you actually have a product, and each person nets you maybe $10, then yes, it is a good investment.

  • Brilliant!!!

    -G

  • Good God, this is like the holy grail of trolling!

  • Brilliant experiment.

  • Is that a Prospere Pierre-Louis in the background?

  • lol awsome! :) cool ad too!

  • lol awsome! :) cool ad too!
