Does the problem lie with Apple and Foxconn? Yeah, partially. However, the pair are exploiting the terrible system that the Chinese government has already established, and the even shittier part is that the factory is actually a step up. I'm not saying it's good (clearly it's terrible), but take for example raw material export in China. 5 years ago the huge ships were loaded by hand by men carrying 2 buckets, now they have tractors. What they mainly can't understand is that they NEED to split up the work that has to be done between much more people and also have a proper, working economy according to it. The only thing that really surpresses slavery is technological advancement and automatization of our environment. Lots of jobs will be replaced by machinery over time and make things easier.

To all those Apple fans who think this documentary is propaganda - PLEASE adopt some basic COMMON SENSE. Clearly, 1) many parts of this documentary was filmed using a hidden camera 2) Foxconn workers really did commit suicide due to being overworked under stressful conditions 3) The propaganda is from the other side - eg, Apple, Foxconn, and of course the China government (follow the money trail) --- So please THINK first before you post instead of being an Apple sheep.
