  • I've been telling friends they need to lose weight to get a 6 pac. They think the ab workouts will target fat in their mid section. This is the mentality which sells millions of the ab machines which are junk. Thank you for being honest and telling folks they also need to lose weight in their bellies before they get a 6 pac with these exercises

  • You said eat less calories and work at a high intensity. What if I am wanting to gain weight because I play football (so I'm already working out at a high intensity), but I'm also wanting to have ripped abs?

  • The roll out Is for your core and Upper abs. I've been doing that for Months. It helps alot and keeps you in shape. But really for your core

  • that man is doing his reverse situps too fast and by using his arms as leverage he isn't getting enough of a workout. don't use your arms or legs as leverage.

    there are ways to get a six pack without the use of gadgets. try them - faster results.

  • Abs exercises alone will NOT get you abs, you need to do weight training in bigger muscle groups to burn the fat around your abs so they can show through.

    YOU CANT SPOT FAT REMOVE, like doing situps wont take fat off of your belly, itll just make the muscles bigger

  • Great video and good advice. Believe me when I tell you because I used to weigh 240 at my max and I'm 170 now and it's an equal mix of everything that will get you results. You need to eat better, lift weights and cardio is key for losing weight so if you want a six pack all of the above is the only way. Maybe look at a full lifestyle change and you need to question if it's your surroundings and people around you that are the cause.

  • hey guys i really recommend you take a look at his whole program because it is truly good! i am 16 5'3 and weighted 83 pounds and in just 1 week of doing the diets he has and the workouts (which you can arrange for any day of the week) i went up to 88 pounds! in just 1 week!! i didn't think it could happen because my whole life i have had a super fast metabolism and even if i over ate i wouldn't gain an once, and now i gained 5pounds! feel free to ask me any questions!

  • @bucketzakkdimetconn Hi there i also train 5 days a week and i do abs once a week i think of them as any other body part i train them heavy with weighted crunches and weighted leg raises e.t.c and stick with 6-10 reps doing that kind of training requires more rest time so i have abs on saturday and do about 30 minuites for them.

  • I could be wrong and I quite possibly am. However I look at these workouts as yeah they look good for your lower abs, at the same time look like they strain your lower back. So my question is: Do these workouts have any strain on your back, and how much strain do they have?

  • @SpEaKeRfReAk123 that depends on how to do them i mean if u suddenly begun by make'n 15/4 while u just begun doing it u may hurt u'r muscels and the back of ur's but if u start slowely like play 6/4 for 2 weeks then 10/4 for 2 weeks then 15/4 for 2 weeks and etc. and after getting to 20/4 u will need to go to gym and start putting some weights on u'r feet while doing them got it and u will not see any effect on u'r stomache before 2 months so my advice to u is be patient

  • @drudi19 I think your English is very good, I am a fitness instructor at a gym and i would ay if it isnt working it may be blocked by lower body fat so keep doing your exercises but also do some cardio exercise to burn body fat then you will see the 6 pack abs you were looking for plus you may also want to do lower body exercises

  • I pretty much have a two pack....my upper abdominals are fine but the middle and lower are not very noticiable. Drinking beer probably doesn't help that much though. The first exercise I will incorporate at the gym. I'm not gonna get wierd at the gym with some ball though. I agree with some of the comments, alot of people are not going to be able to do these if they are somewhat overweight.

  • @adrillikatithang Situps will help shape abs but your abs will never show if you have bodyfat covering them. Thats where cardio comes to play. Burn the fat and they will slowly start to show.

    But still...you can't just do crunches and expect to have sick pack. You must have a good diet and you must do cardio. Cardio allows you to "reveal" the ab muscles. You have to remove the body fat to reveal your muscles.

  • @adrillikatithang "sit ups" in my opinion hurt more than help. the full motion of a sit up puts strain on your lower back and neck that will hurt you in the long run, especially if your older. additionally, sit ups aren't quite as isolated as other exercises which basically means it will take you much longer to gain muscle in that area. for a beginner simple exercises such as crunches (both middle and sides) are very effective, but as any other muscle, abs require muscle confusion, so mix it up

    ive been doing sit ups only and it will give u the 6 pack look but it doesnt give u the lower abs. you only get the look because ur lower ribs look like abs compared with the others

  • @adrillikatithang you can't just do sit ups. if you want a six pack you need to do super sets which is 2 or more exercises back to back with little or no rest. this will burn more fat and increase your metabolism. Doing situps will tone the muscles but you need to also do some cardio to reduce the fat covering the muscles so you’ll be able to see them. Normal sit ups don’t engage the lower abs enough in my opinion. Try leg raise’s, you’ll feel the lower abs engage more immediately

  • @lokrenzo Watch Vince's videos on his channel, he has so many workout techniques its insane, i was already working out before i came across his website and his techniques helped me improve my workouts which gave me big hard pecs and blocky abdominals. im only 19 and i have .6% body fat! Vince is the man!

  • @denrue it could just be the way that your body is buildt, doing Cardio vascular exersises is a good way to burn that last cm of under skin fat, and keep a healty diet with good amout of proteins, and low carbohydrates

  • try working with weights ... if you can go to the gym .. try the seated ab crunch.... or if your at home.. you can use weights hold them over your chest and do in/outs .. its like... keeping your butt on the floor lean back.. keep back straight.. and pull your chest to your knees but also pull your knees to your chest.. meaning that you have to balance on your butt..

  • if your top layer abs happens to be stronger.. then weighted training will burn your other sections more... if you engage and tighten them the right way. more burning will trigger your body to build up your weaker sections faster then your stronger sections... so basically .. you will plateau on some sections of your abs... and get stronger on the other... i had this same problem to... but eventually you get more creative in working out through experience.. but science helps alot more

Track and field is really good too for fitness, but people like they guy in this video dont want to have a so called "running fitness".
