  • Not bad, not bad at all. You presented this very wel. I enjoyed watching it, looking forward to more videos from you. I am just getting started with with creating video content and it is not as easy as it looks... well... its not as easy as YOU make it look. Nice work.

  • where the hell can i watch the film?

  • We need our politicians to be PRO-ENTREPRENEUR in ACTIONS and in WORDS, liberals have labled pro-business as a negitive and sadly I think it has taken hold on the stupid and ignorant. But how can being pro-entrepreneur be labled negitively we are talking about risk takers, innovators, and job creators certainly the term entrepreneur is more personal and less threatening to Joe and Jane six pack who do not understand there is a face and family behind business that is typically good, and decent .

  • Very Motivating

Henceforth, I will change the direction of my life.

  • You pick it, I'll make it faster. I'll pick it and show you something that it wasn't. I'll smash it, turn it inside out, develop, change, downsize it and multiply it.

    I just need an employer!

  • @GeneralMaximus4 thats the point of an entrepreneurial spirit though, is making it happen for you and not relying on someone else to dictate your salary or wealth. start with a couple small projects and use those to fund something bigger and continue the pattern

  • I'm one! For sure I"m one. I'll prove it to you!

  • Wow! when i discovered this burning desire to be my own.. I never really realised it was the Entrepreneurs spirit yearning! I calling all Entrepreneurs NOW! :)

  • @lilicruchelow We couldn't agree more! Does anyone know where we may find the full documentary?

  • @Smartavideo I do not know about a the full documentary. Good luck finding it.

  • Is the soundtrack for this clip available? It's a great piece.

  • Incoherent business jargon.

  • I'm so sick of people telling me that I should go to college so I can get a high paying job and have benefits. I am going to learn to build business by taking risks and investing. I will be more wealthy and do more good than any of the people that have ever discouraged me! Follow your dreams, don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something.

  • @GGuerraFanSite

I can't believe this. This is almost exactly what I use to say.

I don't know you but I respect your way of thinking.

    Good luck my friend!

  • @GGuerraFanSite well said

  • @GGuerraFanSite You may not want to go to college....and you dont have to....you are right....many people succeed without going .....but if you do go....you may learn things that help you take those risks in a more calculated way....just a thought...

    risk is good.....but good risk

  • @GGuerraFanSite Amen, you are right! God bless you on your journey to independent freedom!

  • @GGuerraFanSite You dont have to chastise the idea of going to college. Just pick something that will HELP you become a more efficient entrepreneur. you can run business and be at school at the same time

  • @HumanLife52627 A very valid point. I will likely do something a lot like that in the upcoming years. Cheers :)

  • @GGuerraFanSite You are right. Most of the richest people in America that earned rather than inherited their money, NEVER finished college.

  • @GGuerraFanSite - Good. The only advice you should consider is from those who are doing it or have recently done it. Make this commitment in your heart for yourself, not for others. Identify with excellence. Getting bothered by other mindsets is self-distracting, you must value your time more and seek opportunity within it. Everyday is jvaluable as the one before it. Hate is a self battle with ignorance. Be more appreciative and optimistic to be more self-empowered. Seek order in your doing.

  • @GGuerraFanSite I'm a 3rd year and most of the college friends who even graduated 2 years before me, have not yet found that so called high paying job. Trust me, you are not missing out on much as long as you find what works for you, don't listen to others, the most important thing is DO IT, never wait around thinking what if =)

  • @GGuerraFanSite Oh wow. Good old time propaganda. Just like this bullshit vid. In todays world, it's the tax payer

that takes the risk and the corporation that keeps the profits.

  • @GGuerraFanSite I wish I realised that before I went to university

  • @GGuerraFanSite

Took the words from my mouth BROTHER! Fuck college I'm starting a business.

  • Awesome video!! When I'm at a loss, I just watch this video, and my mind gets planted in vitall soil again. Thanks

  • EXACTLY.

  • Been working in the field

    Deo Vindice!

  • what did he mean by that parable "put your but in a corner & be suprised in what you can do?" can some one explain that metafour for me? thanks!

  • all of uf have excuses about not following our dreams, not trying, not persisting enough... " i would like to do that, BUT you see there is that thing going on... i would do that, BUT the time is terrible... BUT, i dont have the connections...etc" We let our BUTs be our excuses why can't be, do, or achieve more. Got it?

  • so does putting your butt in the corner help you overcome that procrastination in some way?

  • Putting your butt in a corner means that he had no where else to turn. Desperate situation. If you have to do something then you will do things that you never imagined you could do. In a corner is like a boxer hitting someone in a corner of the ring or a dog chasing a cat and has cornered him, this cat will be able to defeat this dog because of this motivation, while the cat would never fight a dog in the first place.

  • what does he say at 1:12?

  • they could lose it all and do it over and over again

  • Just bought the video :)

  • 5/5 great video. 3 different Entrepreneur from 3 different backgrounds in 3 different fields.

  • Comment removed

  • Was born and will always be an Entrepreneur

  • Nice! Its the only way to create for yourself some that is worth going for, during your life and not wishing if only. No Regrets!!

  • I am glad I am a Entrepreneur. I will never work a crappy job again. Even the thought annoys me very much. I can earn as much money in 2 hours then I use to earn in 2 weeks now. I just had to open my mind and see the opportunaties.

  • Doing what bro, share the secret with a confused entrepreneur.

  • If you are serious then you will do exactly what I say. Unfortunately it can't be explained in one sentence and you have to fix in your mind that success and riches can't be obtained instantly without giving something back in return. There are steps you must take to become wealthy. First: I would strongly recommend you purchase a book called: "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Second: I want you to buy this book at the highest price you can find. Third: Read the book and get back to me.

  • why would you reccomend he spend the most money possible on that book?

Financially that shouldn't be smart, like if you were running a business & this expense suddenly came up. "Ok Now, all of a sudden In need to buy this book" It's common sense for that business owner to try & find the best deal possible, so it doesn't dip into his profits. If you generated $200 in sales today, but you have to spend $50 on a book, than leaves you with 150, if you can find the book for 10, than you get 190?why

  • I make enough money to allow me to do whatever I wish to do, when I want. I came from working minimum wage to making 3 times as much as the business I was previously working for.

The advice I gave the fellow entrepreneur was from my own experiences, that advice aided me in my successful quest for financial freedom. Not until you have tried what I suggested can you say what is smart and what is not. Try it instead of condemning something that is considered different.

  • oh sorry dude, I was just curious- i thought you had some special answer, wasn't bashing your suggestion.

Hey, may I ask what it is you do currently? I am very interested in the world of entrepreneurship & always ask any business owner/entrepreneur about their business every time I get the chance. I'll tell you bout me- I recently quit my job & started a small "Bulk Vending machine" business. i put little vending machines in restaurants that sell toys, & split the net w/the owner

  • I apologise. Your idea is great and I love it. I can see a lot of potential with it. It is very similar to what I do. After refining that idea to the point where you do minimal work as possible but still offer the great service, I suggest you try to come up different things that you can do using the same concept, but with different items or services. You'd be very surprised what you come up with and after a while you while realise that the concept is limitless in potential.

  • thanks dude, what is it that you do though? you said you make 3x what u made at your last job, just curious- what is it that you do? (your business)/how does it run? thanks!

  • I found as many suppliers as I could (games to even tyres).

1st I would see if there were a market for them.

I would open an account with them regardless if I were in the industry,

They assume that u r. Later down the track I would tell them that Im not, but by then they dont mind, coz by then youre a huge buyer. They hold stock for me + send directly to my customers. I have no employees and virtually no expenses. I advertise on a website similar to Ebay. I have over 40 suppliers.

  • Thanks for the info dude, I'm going to write to you in like a youtube email, ok? so look out for it, thanks!

  • And by the way, I'm not making 3x more then what I was from a wage, Im making 3x more then my old employers business was making. Please don't get confused.

  • cool, what country are you in? I am in Japan and there are vending machines everywhere. Think of places that people need products and put a vending machine there. For example, my college had a vending machine with paper, pens, and emam forms.

  • Very inspiring. These are really BIG entrepreneurs! There are many ways to be an entrepreneur-- I think a great way is to start in a home-based-business. I have a series of videos on my channel that discusses some of the choices you have if you want to be an entrepreneur.

  • I bought the DVD. When all is said and done, including international shipping (to Ireland) it cost me about $30.

Really in this age there's no reason these guys shouldn't just sell a download of the movie for $5-$10. End of the day it's only hour long, and it's not worth $30. Having said that I bought a book mentioned by one of the successes in the film, that he said changed his life, so who knows. "Road to Serfdom" is the name of that book :)

  • Very inspirational video!

  • This was playing on tv the other day and I caught it. Wonderful program. Highly recommended for any entrepreneur or anyone thinking of becoming one.

  • The world is not enough!

  • This movie is so inspiring and empowering. I encourage everyone, ESPECIALLY YOUNG PEOPLE, to watch it. The world is not a zero sum game!

  • I quit my W-2 job 6 months ago and I love having my own business! It's a dream come true!

  • Same here. Best decision of my career. :)

  • Very good info here.

  • I just watched this documentary today at an Acton conference and it's just great.

I encourage everybody to watch it!

  • Want smart education?

Then empower kids to learn how to be entrepreneurs early on in life. Schools should teach the subject, after all these kids are either going to work for a company (profit or non profit) or create their own path by owning businesses. Let's really teach them real life lessons. Why do we still have to follow the industrial age style of education while we are in digital, service- oriented age?

  • Because public education itself is nothing more than propaganda?

(Oop, did I say that out loud? Really, we homeschoolers need to go back to our backwoods caves and stay out of such high brow conversations. My apologies, sir.)

  • VERY WELL SAID!!! BRAVO, I agree....maybe someone doesn't want us to learn the real life.. Ignorant people are much easier to manipulate and control...

  • SO VERY TRUE... im 22 years old... i own 3 businesses and they are going very well. School didnt teach me anything like this.

  • Can you learn how to be entrepreneur? Especially at school? From... a teacher?

Homeschool is the best chance to get any closer - to learn from parents how to run their company.

  • Well done, Acton! Too bad our schools no longer teach these lessons. Entrepreneurship made Detroit an economic power house; then liberal and socialist ideas transformed it into a basket case.

  • Awesome we have to celebrate entrepreneurship. It is that creative and adventurous spirit that advances civilization and builds wealth.

Despite all the disdain that socialist might have for entrepreneurs, everything they hope to bring to the people through their destructive policies of wealth distribution is made possible by entrepreneurs.

  • Better than socialism jca4

  • Of the major lines of thought in economics, Austrian economics is only beaten by Marxism as the worst way to approach economic problems and development.

  • That is true. Austrian economics -- you should study.

  • Haha. This video was shown to my economics class by the folks from the Acton Institute who are based in my hometown. Of the major lines of thought in economics, Austrian economics is only beaten by Marxism as the worst way to approach economic problems and development.

  • This is a fresh perspective on how to think about local and international economic policy. I like it.

  • Refreshing stuff, especially after watching Sicko.

  • type "sober key" for American Inventor that does Robot Dance.

  • Interesting doc, but look at what kind of ignorance and shadow this has over our everyday lives. How hard are we working and for what? The new breed of entrepreneurs will know what their building. We need to start designing for the future through business and entrepreneurship.

  • hay do any one know where can i download the full filim? can some body give a shout out please

  • Look in the info box for the organization that posted it . You can order the DVD and study guide from the Acton Institute web site (Acton dot org)

  • Interesting stuff, but if you want to Be an Entrepreneur and Make REAL money (very much along the lines of the "Secret" movie, check out the FREE report at WisdomOfGettingRich dot com - Remember if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got!

  • You MUST be kidding ! The "Secret" and "The Law of Attraction" are nothing more than new age pap.

This movie is about TRUE Entrepreneurship involving VIRTUES like FAITH, HOPE, and COURAGE - not some "cosmic genie" waiting to grant your every wish from the "Catalog" of the universe. You need to stop watching Oprah.

  • Yeah, right.....it really sounds like you know.....how much are you worth? I bet I could buy you 10 times over at least! If you have the track record to back up your claims, then I'm interested in your comments. If you don't and are just another 'wannabe', I strongly suggest you take a leaf out of someone's book who HAS made millions and check the report out - find it at WisdomOfGettingRich dot com

  • If (YOU) think the Secret/Law of Attraction is nothing more than new age pap, than that's what it will be to YOU. NEW AGE PAP. It isn't to me. It works.

Also, the "Secret" did have virtues like FAITH, HOPE, and COURAGE (as you say). The theme of the Secret was NOT about a cosmic genie. That genie was more of a representation of the power of the secret. And even though people were promoting the secret on Oprah, I still don't watch her television show religiously.

  • The people from "The Secret" are doing some type of business thing for people. Are you apart of it? Plus, very other entrepreneurial/business video I see posted on youtube has the exact same website referral. I don't know if you are the only one doing this referral, but if you are, these referrals kind of cheapen the teachings of the secret.

  • This video kind of reminds me of "The Secret" book/DVD.

  • I was thinking the exact same thing! I don't know if the whole movie is like that but the preview definitely looks like the secret.

  • Absolutely wonderful!! I was lucky enough to see a special pre-screening of this movie in Seattle, and WOW it is phenomenal. Best documentary film ever. I will be buying 50 of these when it finally gets to DVD. It premiers in Michigan in May, and in Washington DC right after. Then I heard that PBS gets it next, and then Theaters across the globe!!

  • This looks really exciting. Thank you for producing it! I can't wait to see it.
