hip hop and r&b they ruin it................ they dont care about music all they want is to make more money even though the music dont make sense at all.....
Great song. Howard Jones is a brilliant artist & has crafted many great songs on his own but this song was more of a collaboration. Phil Collins not only produced it but is also on the drums & b/g vocals on this song. It seems like he worked with everybody that was huge back in the 80's. I can def see why. Everything he touched back then, turned to gold.
no doubt i grew up in the 80's so can relate to the kids these days in the 80's is so innocent i love everything about the 80' just like the people grew up in the 50's i wish i can go back in time and relive my high school rock on
this song rocks....nobody does it better than howard......awsome......see him in vegas-sept-2011-fremont st. experience......1st street stage.......out doors....
@YouDummy Just so you know, through multi tracking ALL major artists today sing their OWN back up vocals et. al.; cheating, or use of modern equipment?
i was a teenager in the 80,s and im glad i was!!! compared to the way kids live theyre lives now with technology and gagdets and the fact that the only kinda music they listen to is rap, i feel bad for them!!! the music of the 80,s was incredibly diverse, there was metal, rap, and great pop songs like this!!! now its nothing but rap and thats all they know!!! how sad!!! my oldest sister would play this all the time!!! love ya jen!!
Fantastic song - remember working out how to play it when I was 18. Great production and drumming from Phil Collins too on this version, not quite as subtle as the original though, but still rather good... :-)

so much synthpop of this era somehow forgot that songwriting is a craft. It's about the song. Howard Jones always knew that the song comes first

Phil Collins drumming is always wonderful :) Too bad he is retiring. This is a very well written song. Truly a masterpiece.
