  • how would you make a table to plot points on the graph?

  • nice lines u got there

  • the x+2 in the absolute value- 2 represents the x part of the vertex. she did it right. it should be the opposite of wht is listed in the absolute value. just saying. :D

  • i though abs value of 2 was -2

  • @OMGxitzD3 absolute values can never be a negative number. NEVER

  • @OMGxitzD3 not at all. abs value of 2 is 2

  • this reallly helped me. I was having a lot of trouble remembering what i learned in class( we were supposed to learn this in 1 day and then she left us 1 problem to do..looks like quality over quantity...)

  • THANKS :D

  • what if there is no number in the place of the 3?

  • the slope is the same as the "parent graph", 1/1

  • That just means 1

  • the slope becomes becomes (if not upside down) right 1 down 1 for the left side until the vertex and then up 1 right 1 to infinity. If upside down, the slope is up 1 right 1 for the left side until the vertex ,then it becomes down 1 right 1 for infinity

  • you guys are speds

  • ahhh!!! i'm sooo impress!!! THANX!!!

  • this helps

    thanks

  • how can you e more precise when you are making the graph wider or narrower??

and good vid. it helped alot

  • i figured this out just now lolz but since u asked a year ago i guess itz usless 4 me to answer but if itz a fraction you multiply the (x) value byt he reciprical on the fraction and if itz a whole number u divide by the number

  • Great detail and explanation, thanks!
