There's an entire chapter devoted to Joe Meek's 1959 stereo masterpiece I Hear A New World—along with the restored and remastered music—in the brand new eBook Second Edition of Joe Meek's Bold Techniques by Barry Cleveland (available from iTunes, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble).
you have all to see the great & tragic movie about Joe Meek who produced and engineered lots of song at his london appartment. the movie is called telstar, the story of Joe meek
I've only recently stumbled upon Meek because of James Pants. but i must say everything i'm hearing from him i just fall in love with. He was truly a man far ahead of his era. This song so far is my favorite though. cant help but listen to it at least once a day.
Brilliant!!! Joe Meek was a total loony paranoid speedfreak but his contribution to the music world was outstanding, so sad that he died so tragic, he deserved much better, I hope wherever he is he is making music and laughing and having fun,I feel a tributary cover version of this song coming on............
Amazing and original composer. It's too bad he blew his brains out. Who knows what else we would have heard from him.

Thanks for uploading, but here's an idea: upload again with both sides of the EP on one uploading. Do the same with side 2

Way ahead of its time for when it was recorded in 1959.
