Disagree COMEPLTELY! Just look at piper's wedding. She was split into two because she devoted her life to her sisters instead of seeking love and happiness for her self. That's why she worked at Bucklands instea d of being a photographer. She was still devastated about their mom and always felt like she had to be the mother figure. Prue was Confident, yes, but she did not think she was the best. She was protective in regards to her sisters. That's why she gave Cole a hard time.

because of an off-screen huge fight with alyssa milano, it seems shannen's "me first" attitude was the reason why alyssa and shannen bearly speaked to each other on the set, until shannen was dismissed

I do not. Rose McGowan, from what I've seen of her, is an actress and can play some roles. But I felt as though Paige was just a character she never understood how to play; or if she did understand the character it was never translated on screen.

In movies like Jawbreaker Rose McGowan was genius. But. . .it seemed like she was just bored when she played Paige. I didn't enjoy her performance, no.

Honestly, I don't care about the fans of the show, not to be disrespectful, but in place of that they could have had cast interviews, more of them. I thought the Fans of Charmed segment was the lamest.

I have to disagree. I think Prue's character was stronger.

And it's a known fact the storyline structure changed after Prue left and Constance Burge left. The series wasn't as dramatic as it was before. 4 was the best with Paige.

Seasons 5,6,7 were kinda boring to me. It seemed more about Wyatt and Chris than the Witches. And Season 8 had an interesting comeback, but they tried to tie up too many loose ends. With Pheobe and Paige both with guys in the same season.

Just my opinion.

I must agree with you. Only because I stopped watching the show for a long time. I started watching with the Pheobe/Cole story lines. Went backwards and loved the show. Stopped watching somewhere in the middle of the sixth season. Caught the Chris/Leo family dynamic in repeats and saw something there about that original made the show great. The family dynamic.

When that was getting good, it got campy again. So I have seen little of Season 7.

I didn't like Billie.

It was always implied that the eldest sister would be stronger, but I think Piper was meant to be the strongest, power-wise. What Prue could do TK wise in 10 years, Piper could do in season 3.

But then destiny falls into consideration. Prue was meant to die, Paige was meant to be discovered. Roles were changed.

"Technically" it was destiny for Piper as the new eldest to be strongest. But the only reason that destiny happened was because Shannen Doherty was released from her contract. Over the phone.

And when I said I thought Prue's character was stronger - I didn't just mean power-wise. I mean her character. Prue was an awesome character - and even though Piper replaced Prue as the oldest sister, they assumed Paige would be good enough. They were wrong.

Rose McGowan's acting underwhelmed me. Lol. =D

I know about the whole Shannen wanting out thing, I'm just saying, whether or not Shannen wanted out, it seemed to me that she was meant to be the strongest power-wise.

Even though Piper received her new power while Prue was there, if Shannen had stayed, I think that was still meant to be a power Piper would have.

season 8 dvd is the only charmed dvd with extras meaning seasons 1-7 there are no bonus features but when u get season 8 on dvd there are bonus features. hope that helps.
