I and my son escaped a burning car w/o a scratch.I was in the car with a drunk friend & crashed into another car at 70 miles an hr. & all the people involved walked away w/o a scratch though the cars were totaled.Another car crashed into me at 50 miles an hr. TWICE on an icy hill.All I got was a mild case of whiplash.I could go on & on.U won't go b4 your time & that's because there's a God who says when.U can't change it.But all else is negotiable thru God's will & prayer.
I don't know God from answered prayer as much as I do from living life & being aware of all that goes on around me, instead of just going through the motions.This world will never be pain free until God creates the new heaven & earth after the tribulation. But that doesn't mean He doesn't answer prayers.But His choices for our lives aren't always ours.But they still have purpose.
@1963danno How sad to believe you make your own life.To never know the mystery & miracles of the divine.I've gone through & been saved from so much I'd be the worse kind of liar if I said there was no God.I can't imagine a life so empty as to believe this is all there is.Tempting the Lord is not praying w/o end.It means u don't jump in front of a train & expect Him to save u.We're told to pray w/o ceasing in the Bible.
