we were not happy about the fact that we had to be there to protest it, but the point of being so happy and smiling is so that the pro- choices will see that pro-lifers are happy and are not angry and full of LIFE. which is missed opportunity for many. To change the hearts of people when they saw us being happy and not attacking them say "what you're doing is wrong" we try to approach it a way that everyone will want to join in and be like "hey they seem pretty fun, I want to join them"

I don't understand. If you were there to protest the killing of innocent babies, shouldn't that be a fairly sad event? How does singing and dancing (smiling all the while) to pop music show your disgust for what PP does? And the gentleman dressed like a sailor, what relevance did that have? It seemed like more people were there for the party than the protest.

I gave myself reasons not to go on Saturday, though I support many pro-life efforts. I knew I was copping out, and prayed there would be a good presence there and I'm so glad to see the videos! Thanks to everyone who used there precious time on that very hot day to witness against Planned Parenthood, killer of many thousands of babes in the womb every year. Your efforts WILL bear fruit!

@2138hart "Your efforts will bear fruit?" Aren't you pro-life? Why use "your efforts?" You know many people there on Sat were from Chicago. Where where all the pro-life Mich. people? Yes it was hot, but for crying out loud, if everyone thought that way, NO ONE would show up! I have yet to see many pro-life people at the 5 or 6 events I attended to protest Planned Parenthood (PP) in Oakland County, MI, since Dec. PP is trying to open up a clinic there. And Oakland County is NOT close for me.

Did not my opening remarks make clear that I was chastising myself for choosing not to attend? And highly commending those who did? I have been active in this fight since 1972, spend a good deal of time in front of abortion clinics, and at protests, pour money into several pro-life groups and pregnancy help centers, and work to limit legal abortion. And that's not the end of the list. So, please, do not sit in judgement. There are many battlefronts in this war. No one can do it all.
