Stuckup is not the word to use. Demanding respect from Nigerian men, or just men in general, is not being stuck up. That's called being a strong, proud Nigerian woman. Like you, I'm Igbo (Igbo Kwenu). And people tell me that I come off as aggressive and may at times, but that's my defensive mechanism. That's how I'm able to hold my own. Being stuck up is the wrong word for that your describing.

I know a Nigerian girl that goes to my school, I haven't even gotten the chance to get to know her, because every time I try to approach her she seems to find a way to dodge me as if she knows I'm gonna spit some game at her or something. As a Nigerian American, I feel that the behavior that you described from Nigerian women are in general, the behavior of all women worldwide so you shouldn't single out Naija women. I understand that you're trying to be fair. In my opinion, this is a vid all men of all races should listen to because it's a first step in truly understanding a woman and her psyche. Some women do take it farther than others but as long as she knows when to ease up a bit, she should be fine.
