I enjoyed Hong Kong Phooey in Laff-a-Lympics; I liked the way he seemed to hold his own without Spot or that book of his. They didn't seem to use him much in Laff-a-Lympics, but at least he got some piece of the action.
Ah, memories. Like all other kids, I too watched this, among many other cartoons, on Saturday mornings back in the 1970s. Brings back memories of me sitting in front of the living room 25 inch color tv (the only tv we had in the house, unlike today where people practically have a tv in each & every room), while eating bowl after bowl of my favorite breakfast cereals (frankenbery, lucky charms, fruity pebbles trix, etc). Eventually I grew out of watching cartoons which is just as well.
Used to watch this on USA Cartoon Express back in the mid-80s (they ran a lot of short-lived HB shows, didn't they? LOL)...gotta lovew that theme song! :-)

No they didn't use him much on Laff-a-Lympics. They should have, because I got tired of seeing Blue Falcon and Dyno-Mutt get all the action on there.
