  • Superbe, bravo. Nice editing too.

  • magnifico... stupendo...

  • What place is that at 1:32 ?

  • Hi. That's an amazing vid!

May I ask you, how did you solve the problem with the tires? I mean you can't ride a bike with off road tires on a street and otherwise you can't ride a bike on a off road track with street tires? Or am I wrong?

  • Hi,

As far as I'm concerned, while you can easily get used on riding a bike with off road tires on a street route, it is almost impossible to ride a bike with street tires on a mud track. Anyway, from Venice to the Mongolian border we had streets tires, then we changed to off road tires, we carried them with us.

  • Great video and thanks for the subtitles for those of us who are linguistically challenged! I notice it said "directors cut" at the beginning......you have a dvd of the trip?

  • How many Km can you ride on a tank of fuel with the R1200GSA?

  • I believe more than 300 Km

  • ho goduto vedendo questo video , anche perche avendo la stesa moto ho goduto parecchio , mi viene voglia di partire anche adesso

  • Davvero bello! Complimenti ragazzi. Questi scenari mi ricordano molto il documentario della Long way Round. Già messo tra i preferiti.

  • what motorcicle are you guys driving?

  • R 1200 gs adventure

  • Dudes!

That was great riding, and amazing video. Need to learn for university examina in 2 hours, but can't stop watching ur video.

Tough riding, 300 to 400km a day in Mongolia, that's incredible. Did u have any major problems with the bikes?

    Keep on riding...

  • Thanks for your kind comment.

No, we did not have any problem at all with the motorbikes. As I as was concerned, being not so tall, the motorbike weight was the only inconvenient, but as you can understand, after a while one gets accustomed to it. I hope your examina was ok.

    Ciao

  • Yeah, exam no problem. You know what they say: If the bike's to heavy, you have to get stronger! Well, you obviously did...

I plan to cross Mongolia as well, but on my Africa Twin. Not sure though if I take the North or south route, like u did. What fuel range is needed for the south? I read something about 300km? I won't have a landy with me, but I want a second person on a second bike for safety reasons, and to help lifting the bikes in the mud... :-(
