original steam version. (or whatever you check) turns off all video filters you added. so its completely useless to bring it through virtual dub anyways...

It dosent work for em. I keep getting this error:

The source video stream uses a compression algorithim which is not compatable with AVI files. Direct Stream coppy can not be used with this video stream.

What kind of tutorial was that? All you did was crop a section of video and save it. I thought you were going to TEACH something? What about cropping multiple scenes and editing them together in a different sequence? what about adding your own soundtrack? What about adding titles? Come on! That is what video editing is all about!!!
