I quit Law School over this song. Two weeks later I was tending Bar at the El Tovar on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. 18 months later who walks into my bar? Jimmy...I told him my story and he said:
"They're just songs, son! You don't go quitting law school over one! I can't carry that kind of weight!" he was a very nice gentleman and a great tipper!
I have always been happier as a NON-lawyer! THANK GOD FOR JIMMY B!
I never went to collage but I lived a little of Jimmy's songs starting back in the seventies been pretty much around this old world in my Navy days and traveled all over the Caribbean and all over the U.S.As a civilian , seen a lot of strange shit.Went through a lot of strange shit.So I can relate :)

You can still meet this guy in fishing towns from Dutch Harbor to the Keys. And (former) logging towns, mining towns, mill towns, and all gold rushes like the Alaskan pipeline and future oil spill clean ups everywhere.
Love this song!
