What is I hear that the Feds are messing with Gibson for using some wood from India, that the Indian Gov't said was fine with them. They invaded a couple of Gibson plants and took a bunch of wood, Guitars and other stuff... this BS has to stop, Gibson did NOTHING wrong!!!!!!!

@jiaconis The problem isn't with the Indian government saying it's fine - the problem is that trafficking in that particular kind of wood is illegal according to American law. I don't know whether Gibson actually did anything to break either country's laws, but that's the explanation floating around the Internet: it might be fine with Indian law, but it might not have been with American law.

I feel gifted by the fact that Eric Clapton is such a true artist... wise enough to let himself continue to still grow as a musician.

There are surely rewards for him in this... but we are all gifted by it.

@jiaconis Thats what he started out playing. GIbsons. And yeah He has quite a few 335s he likes to use on rare occasions. Particularly this is for a side project were the strat wouldn't really work. the sound just doesnt fit with that new orleans jazzy R&B sound.
