I think it's rather pointless playing this game with small controller like that. The big size of a controller is a huge part of the game I think. If you don't want to buy a big controller, buy Beatmania IIDX instead. Ps. Don't buy a over priced official controller, DJ Dao controller has better price-quality ratio

Personally, I don't think that it's the size of the controller thar matters, but the DISTANCE between the buttons...on this smaller controllers, the buttons are very close to each other.
