Larry Birkhead is the Father of Anna Nicole Smith's Baby

Larry Birkhead doesn't have job for years. He sells pictures of Anna's child to tabloids and that's how he earns money. He said before DNA was done that he was going to leave LA, and have a quiet life in his hometown in Kentucky. That was a LIE. Anna's daughter is a very little girl who financially supports a healthy father aged 37 who doesn't want to  find a decent job and move from Hollywood spotlights.

Birkhead told Bahamian Police and Rita Cosby ( he was a major source for Blonde Ambition), that Howard's father stole Anna 's money via offshore accounts. Howard's father is 75. He had a cancer, lymphoma and was on a chemotherapy. Howard had to protect his family and that's why he gave up. Birkhead's family friends Ford Shelley and Ben Thompson gave $5,000 to nannies to lie about Howard in order to disredit him in custody battle.

Anna was a lot of things that may have been questionable and, even, distasteful, but she was also a good mother who loved her children. She didn't want Birkhead in Dannielynn's life for a reason, and made this very clear in naming Howard K the father on the birth certificate and moving to the Bahamas to stonewall any attempts by Birkhead to establish paternity. When a good parent doesn't want a person around their child, biological parent or not, I'm inclined to respect that decision.

@thegirl44 Look, custody just doesn't work that way. She chose to bring a child into this world with Larry, and for better or for worse, he has a right to that child. If she wanted to Howard to raise her child, she should have had a baby with him. Larry was never given a chance to be a father to that baby before Anna tried to cut him out of Dannielynn's life.

Don't forget that Anna had issues with drugs and was going through a lot after her son's death. Her judgment might not have been sound.

I understand of the archaic family law system. Just because it's law doesn't make it right.

Prior to the widespread use of DNA testing in the 1990's Howard K would have been the father of that baby, as per the mother's wishes, as opposed to a failed paprazzi who sells photos of the dead mother to the highest bidder and was shopping around for a reality television show to exploit the toddler.

He'll be pimping that baby even harder now that Anna didn't get the Marshall inheritance.

Just to clarify, Daniel died AFTER Anna put Howard K's name on the birth certificate, so your argument isn't supported by any historical fact.

Howard K was Anna's AGENT and was hired in this capacity after Anna was already famous, it was his job to keep her CAREER in the spotlight. The work that he was paid to do for his client has no bearing on how he would have treated his daughter. You are making a non argument

@thegirl44 You clearly don't know much about Howard. He's been charged with conspiracy, along with her doctors, for filling the prescriptions that led to Anna's death. Also, have you ever seen the video he took of Anna when she was pregnant with Dannielynn? Search "Anna Nicole Clown Video". She was clearly intoxicated and Howard Stern took the video and released it to the media to exploit her. He may have originally been hired as his agent, but he began using her and exerting control over her.

@thegirl44 My original point in all this, was that you may think Larry Birkhead is a scumbag who will exploit the baby. That's fair.

However, Howard K Stern is a KNOWN scumbag. He had a reputation for manipulating Anna's decisions, and has been charged with providing her with the drugs. So I wouldn't trust anything that was "Anna's wishes" in her will, since Howard was her lawyer, and was named executor of the estate. Given the choice, between the two, I'd rather go with the natural parent.

When Anna and Howard started a personal relationship the first thing that Anna should have done to prevent a conflict of interest would have been to find a new lawyer.

I don't think that the charges against Howard will stick for the simple reason of: The defense will pull in person after person who was thrown out of Anna's inner circle for not doing as she said, Howard was simply catering to the woman he loved.

As a recovered addict I feel that the burden of responsibility for Anna's drug use was on Anna. There is documentation of Anna using and going into rehab before Howard came along. This new legal practice of shifting personal responsibility on to others has to stop and I sincerely hope that Howard K is found not guilty in this case. He couldn't have got the drugs for Anna if the doctors didn't write the perscriptions and wouldn't have if Anna didn't want them.

@thegirl44 I can definitely agree with you that the drug user should be the one completely responsible for their own actions. I do think he was the one person Anna could turn to and trust, when so many were trying to use her, but I think he had some selfish motives. But we can agree to disagree :)

Larry Birkhead IS homosexual failed actor turned paparazzo who lived in Burbank in a small apartment with his boyfriend. Anna and her friends knew he was homosexual. She wanted a baby and made a deal with Birkhead regarding child's paternity. Birkhead broke the deal because he was greedy, even wanted a Marshall millions. He always wanted to become rich and famous though he had no talents. He became a very rich, earned more than $2 mil. from tabloids.

Larry is probably complementing Howard in the media because he is afraid Howard will harm Dannielynn before he gets her full time. He probably feels Howard is dangerous and is going along with Howard so he feels safe and not threatened.

Yeah, when Anna first went to Bahamas to have her baby, I felt it was a publicity stunt from the get go, and I did not know about her "Yes, I'm pregnant and you will be supurised who the daddy is video" yet, either...seeing that video, my opinion, the "who's the daddy" was going to be a publicity stunt that went wrong-In my opinion, Howard saw an opportunity to do away w/Anna and Daniel and be the father on the Birth Cert., being a lawyer, he thought he knew he couldn't be contested.

I was never a fan of Anna's and didn't even know about the baby until Daniel's death. They tried to get that guy from SC to be the daddy(I think to get the house), but he was fixed,so that fell through.Then Daniel "died". Howard still squatted in the house,and I think Larry is just being "nice" until he gets that baby away from Stern,for good reason. I hope,after he does,he gets Stern for fraud, and they haven't had some kind of deal,all along.

Yes, I hope Larry had no "who's the daddy" deal with Anna and Stern. But, it seems for sure that Larry would have nothing to do with Anna and Daniels deaths. I liked watching Annas reality show when it aired and felt a lot was publicity stunts, and after the show too, but it made me continually curious and I was a fan and wanteted to see what she'd do next.

Well,now,as things have elvolved it looks like Larri and Howie had a deal after all. The deal it appears is that they will have "their" baby, Larry could live in the mansion,play like mommy ,EXPLOIT Dannilynn, make the big bucks and Howie,doing the daddy role, would continue his quest for the Marshall money and then he and Larri would have it all!

It seems to me that they both always knew what the DNA results were gonna be,no surprise there, but Larry looked very nervous and Stern,well there is just something about him. I just think something is and has been in the making for some time and they didn't count on Virgie intruding and messing things up for them. Just a feeling. Guess we will see.

If Larry doesn't go after HKS for fraud,etc, it really will bring up alot of ? as far as I am concerned. I sure hope granma can watch over that child,especially since she is most likely going to have some problems with all the drugs anna was "taking" before,during her birth. Gma is the only one that would have done something to protect her gchild if HKS hadn't been in control and now he is going to "make sure" his buddy is going to have sole custody of that baby?

Yeah, the girly hug seemed a little planned to me. Larry was either waiting to leave or not knowing where he needed to stand OR he was waiting for the planned hug.......hum, I can't tell. A few times I watched it seemed like Birkhead did a little glance I've seen him do before, kind of like, get a load of this guy.
