jamie is an amazing person. and i love TWLOHA i think they are an amazing organization that has saved a lot of lives. I had to help my friend over the phone not kill herself about 2 yrs ago. and it was a bad situation it was a scary experience and I did help her. (:
TWLOHA is my favorite organization we shall stop the cutting and suicide...i know how hard it is to stop cutting...its very hard but we can all find a way out of it if i did so can you
TWLOHA! I support them and i feel great for doing it. =] PLEASE STOP THE BLEEDING! LOVE IS THE MOVEMENT! TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS! Great cause you guys who ever supports the cause tap your self on the back =]
well i first heard of this through paramore and i saw hayley wearing the shirt so i was ike um to write love on her arms???? and then immediatly after i read this story it touched me.
it woke me up and gave me inspiration and i look up to renee she is truley my idol. just how she got through all of this. its really been so amazing and i look up to jamie for helping her and i truely belive this is the most amazing thing i have EVER read this organazation is amazing and the people in it too.thank
I'm a huge supporter of this (: The year of 2007 was a tough year where suicidal thoughts had began coming and me always being depressed. So, after fiding out about this group t just kinda of gave me hope, that I seriosuly wasn't the only person out there with those kind of issues. And it doesn't make you feel crazy, yah know? *huge supporter* :)
twloha is such an amazing group, im so glad i heard about it. its such a relief to remember you're not alone in things like this and its great that renee's 2 years clean now... shows it's possible
Do these people really believe that they need an organization to help? I roll the dice of life, and so do you. If you think you're depressed, you don't know what real depression is. You don't walk miles to go to a convenience store and buy razors to cut yourself, you buy food. You don't get upset with mommy and daddy because they didn't let you go out last night, you help them fetch water to drink.
You don't cry over your loved ones, because no one OUT OF YOUR COUNTRY is going to help you get over it. You grew up in suburbia, no one feels sorry for you. Don't write FUCK UP. Write GROW UP.
Depression is depression, and TWLOHA HELPS. Maybe someone's depressed because "mommy" and "daddy" got a divorce, or "daddy" left them, or "mommy" died. Life is hard, uhkay? And just because teens get depressed doesn't mean they're idiots- you have no idea. I was depressed when I was 10 years old- yes, REAL depression. The "what's the point of life?" kind of depression. Yeah, it's annoying when people fake it and go "Emo," but a lot of people don't.
You don't know what "Real" is. You. Grew. Up. In. Suberbia. "The body of Christ coming to meet her needs" This means they are TARGETING a group of people who worship this person, it is appealing to this group. Helping people, but not really helping "people" who are in real depression.
You don't know who they are "targeting." Man does not survive on food and drink alone. I grew up in a house in a neighborhood- that doesn't mean I can't feel pain. Depression happens to anyone, no matter what the circumstances. The richest person in the world can still be unhappy. Ever heard of St. Augustine?
Can we measure pain, to say that physical "pain" or psychological "pain" are both similar or different in terms of intensity? Physical pain is very different in the sense of healing, it mostly always takes time no matter who it is. Now for mental pain, this can be cured in an instant depending on the person. The only thing stopping you from realizing your "pain" is nothing but self inflicted and easily curable, is to reason by yourself.
The moment is sad, but your constant whining is only self inflicted, you are ungrateful to be alive. Learn to suppress it yourself and learn that life is a wild animal that can attack you at any moment, and realize that it must be tamed. You can receive all the help you want from these people, but you'll soon find that you are able to become depressed again. You'll never get out of this depression circle, unless you learn to help yourself overcome.

Just like our Medicare, not everyone has a chance to receive special treatment. You won't survive unless you rationalize it, and realize that your sobbing isn't going to help anything. Nice try organization, but you're not really helping.
TWLOHA doesn't give people special treatment. TWLOHA lets the people know that they are not alone in their struggle. You have never felt depression because you clearly do know how it feels. Depression is not self pity, it is not momentary sadness over a worldly miss-achievement, it is not created by one's self, and it is not easy to overcome. Just wait and see- one day you will wake up and break.
They have saved many lives, even if certain people have not physically met up with these people, I know that because of Renee Y. and Jamie T. are amazing people and just because of the support they have given makes me feel that I can do the right thing. While you are right in the aspect of also helping yourself and metally wanting to change with the help of these organizations, we can all do it, so thanks for the try, but, hmm, I wonder why your comment has six thumbs down?????
are you serious!! you have absoutley no compassion wat so ever for people if your gonna say crap like all they care a bout is the money! they are NON PROFIT they help suicidal people. over 75% of teens today have attempted suicide! This movement is love! it is a stand for wat is right, it shows the Love of God and they are there to change people worlds...

he says "the bands have been really suportive." What band is not going to be suportive? seriously, anything that will attract people to their music the band is there. The bands and TWLOHA will never, ever feel what pain really goes on underneither ur stupid "stop the bleeding" shirts. Cuz they are too busy counting their money.
are you f*cking kidding me? they are a NON-PROFIT!
I met Jamie and some of the other twloha crew at warped tour and they are truly amazing. They started this thing because they felt it. They felt the pain, they just wanted to help a friend and ended up doing SO much more. Have you even read the story? no. I know you haven't. TWLOHA is amazing dude. There needs to be more people like them and less like you.
dude how can u say that?! people really believe in this stuff! the people in these bands hav gone through similiar stories and probly kno people who hav too. its not all abt the fucking money! ur an asshole!!
get to know the world out there but idk what youve been through but i bet its not the shit the world has to offer.
theres rape theres murder theres a lot of stuff and these bands dont need the further promotion theyre with the organization because they know what they're fuckin talkina bout. and heartwithanarrow's right ITS A NONPROFIT
i understand you might not agree with what the videos/movement's saying but there are people who need this. read more carefully.

It sucks that kids today glamorize problems.. Ive seen chatrooms where kids were comparing meds and chit-chatting about different mental facilities they'd been in- the way most people talk about foods they've tried and vacations and hotels they've stayed at.... Thats one of the reason's I hate this "emo" movement thing... It makes depression "cool". WTF is wrong with kids today? People with real problems get harassed and called emo- just because of some stupid scene.. Its disgusting.

Something that I similarly also believe however - Depression is curable, and you are the only one in control of it.
UnholyG0D 4 years ago
Yes, but people don't know how to cure it and addiction makes it all the worse. And cutting turns into an addiction of it's own.
