No, this is not FF VI. It's definitely from FF III.

In US, FF VI was released as FF III. But this score is not from FFVI, it's from the original (japanese) FF III

Yeah, its the boss theme from FF3 (DS or NES. Its definitely one of the better soundtracks, this track makes it seem like a real boss theme.
