I used to work at Olive Garden and was injured on the job. My manager refused to let me leave even though I could not bend my right elbow because it was 'too busy'. She said I should go to the ER after work. When I told her that I didn't have health insurance and wasn't gonna go but just wanted to leave, she says it's ok because they will cover it on their insurance if I file a workers comp claim. So I did go to the ER like she recommended and they denied my claim. Now I'm stuck with the bill.

I hate the OG. Their service is crap. The last two times I went to a OG I didn't even get to order. The first time I waited about 30 minutes and left without seeing a waiter, the second time I got to the drink but still 45 minutes later and never got to order.

@IDIDITFORTHEGLORY Yes, we only have 3 tables BUT ...i went from being able to handle up to 8 tables at Cracker Barrel to barely handling 3 at the OG when i changed restaurants. the OG is so much harder to serve at than other places because of all the things you have do at once. have you ever served at the OG before? have you ever even served before? Serving at the OG is not an easy serving job by far!
@feelmywings I served at OG for nearly 3 years. I can honestly say that serving there isn't NEARLY as hard as what people make it out to be. So what, endless soup, salad, breadsticks and sometimes pasta. Your tables are a foot away from each other and its all about how you manage your time and multi task. As soon as you get the hang of it, you're golden.

Love this video. I worked at Olive Garden for 3 years, and went I left for the U.S. Army they refused to rehire me upon return. It took a lawyer to get my job back. Less than 4 months later they are now terminating me based on a claim proven to be false. A co-worker who is known for being an asshole told our manager I called him an "iraqi terrorist" because i wouldnt let him keep the tip we got on table together. I was told that its believable based on my service, despite no witnesses to it.
I always wondered who out of us would be the genius to take hospitaliano to the next level. Thanks for the laugh with this song, in the long run. Leaving was your best option.

I hate the OG. Their service is crap. The last two times I went to a OG I didn't even get to order. The first time I waited about 30 minutes and left without seeing a waiter, the second time I got to the drink but still 45 minutes later and never got to order.
Neve again will I darken their door with my shadow.

@IDIDITFORTHEGLORY Yes, we only have 3 tables BUT ...i went from being able to handle up to 8 tables at Cracker Barrel to barely handling 3 at the OG when i changed restaurants. the OG is so much harder to serve at than other places because of all the things you have do at once. have you ever served at the OG before? have you ever even served before? Serving at the OG is not an easy serving job by far!

@feelmywings I served at OG for nearly 3 years. I can honestly say that serving there isn't NEARLY as hard as what people make it out to be. So what, endless soup, salad, breadsticks and sometimes pasta. Your tables are a foot away from each other and its all about how you manage your time and multi task. As soon as you get the hang of it, you're golden.

Love this video. I worked at Olive Garden for 3 years, and went I left for the U.S. Army they refused to rehire me upon return. It took a lawyer to get my job back. Less than 4 months later they are now terminating me based on a claim proven to be false. A co-worker who is known for being an asshole told our manager I called him an "iraqi terrorist" because i wouldnt let him keep the tip we got on table together. I was told that its believable based on my service, despite no witnesses to it.

Lmao. As a backup for over 2 and a half years I really appreciated the Breadsticks and Minestrone part. I'm constantly running soup and making breadsticks. I wish some of our servers would learn to yell back when they take the breadsticks instead of take the last breadstick and leave the empty tray...

All the customers that come in their restaurants have ridiculous expectations of the servers and think it is a SUPER nice place. (which it can be, but not usually).
