If Dennis Walter (the bloke who calls out the Keno numbers) can cover the 'Ship Song', it must be open slather on Nick Cave cover versions. I think with this blokes silky smooth voice, he could have done a wonderful rendition of another Nick classic like Deep in the Woods. I think the irony of a rather dark and brooding song turned into an opera classic rather ironic.

I haven't heard the orginal of this song, but everyone who is calling Josh Groban names because of this version are kind of being immature, after all Josh Groban still has an amazing voice and I am pretty sure he wasn't trying to ruin the song, in fact he probably loved it so much he just wanted to do his own version..... so calm down people.
