the locrian mode can be used against a min7b5 chord and you could use it in a progression like Dmin7b5 to G7#9 resolve to Cmin. Over the G7#9 could use a diminished whole tone scale, so the run over the Dmin7b5 & G7#9 would look like this:
D Eb F G Ab Bb C D (locrian) - G Ab Bb B C# D# F G (diminished whole tone)
I have nothing against the Parker Nightfly but it could be better for viewers that you use a fretboard with some kind of markers on it which would make it easier for us to keep track of what you're doing visually ;-|
@Eliasoz he probably has a Dimarzio Custom Wound in his guitar. This thing sounds very thight and gives you a sharp attack. My tach has this in his Parker Fly Deluxe, and it sounds like a razorblade.
@Eliasoz I meant my teach (it was late in the evening ^^). As for Dimarzio, it's a company that makes (good) pickups, Custom wound is the name of the model. Check their website.
If you're sure you want that sound and taht you want to mod your guitar, go for it.
superb lessons...if any of you are interested in develop some knowledge of Modes, please check out a Great DVD called "MODES NO MORE MISTERY" from the great Frank Gambale!!!!
@jkuebler89 This video may not teach anything to YOU, but it's definately interesting and it DOES teach those who want to learn about how scales/modes are made.

What do you use for that tone? It's pretty tight.

@DarkRattlehead Okay, what's a "tach"? And what is a Dimarzio Custom Wound and should I put that on my Squire M80? Cause I want it!

What kind of guitar is that? The headstock looks like a non-reversed Blackmachine headstock, which looks amazing!
