Well it's not a fad for me, I just like it. a fad is more of a conformist thing, I don't think that this has been inspired by conformity. I find buying gold to be annoying, because it not only is connected to sweatshops which is fucked up but it also ruins the point of the game. to get better.

I do like the fact that there are ppl out there trying to make it easier to make gold, but why do all these guys make a guide and then try to sell it?I already spend enough money just to play the game.I understand it's cheaper to buy the guide than to buy gold, but still, if u really wanted to help people make gold, u'd do us all a favor and give us the info for free. People who sell these guides are just diverting the money flow from the gold farmers to themselves.

if they gave away the info for free then everyone would use it and it would be ineffective. the price tag is a deterent for most people and that protects those who use the guide, besides they spent the time to make a guide, they can reap the rewards for that if they want.

see, the thing is that there's money to be made. and it's not dishonest. You buy a guide that gives you tips and tricks in video games when you can't beat a level, this is the same trick (well, you could get the information online for beating a video game i guess). But the person has a right to make money off the valuable information he has, for it is worth money.
