What temperatures does your cpu run at? idle and max load. I have a 3500+ too and i set it to adaptive OC 3.57GHz and it idles at around 43c and maxes 65/67c. I might need a better heatsink and fan though.
Why doesnt my computer handle Crysis? Here are my specs, please tell me what to upgrade or what's lacking. And I got Windows Vista and Im getting Windows 7 soon so yeah so it will go better then but anyways here:
Intel Dual Core 5200, 2.50Ghz (No overclock)
Nvidia GeForce G210, 512 MB
3GB of RAM
Tell me why this doesnt work, and dont tell me it's Vista, cause im gonna get 7 as I said so yeah. Thanks, and nice video.
G210 isn't intented for gaming, it can play 4-5 year old games, but it won't even be able to handle recently RTS games let alone Crysis. If you want to play Crysis for cheap, get a HD4650 or 9500GT atleast. You'll probably be able to play Crysis 1024x768 medium-high quality 2xAA @ ~25FPS
Allrigt.. Well Crysis will guaranteed run better On windows 7, if not then im gonna go for XP cause my dad got the same specs (NEARLY) and he can run MW2 and I can't. Cuz Vista takes too much power to run. Xp doesnt lol. So yeah, else I'ma buy myself a Intel Quad Core or a 9500GT.

I have to try this. I have a PNY Geforce 6600 GT. I'm waiting on a 3ghz P4. I figured whats wrong with 20 dollars for another ghz of cpu power?
Left 4 Dead should run much better after a new cpu. First Person shooters aren't good with lag. Fallout 3 runs okay except when in the wasteland. Mostly due to my slow 2ghz cpu :(
Most early Next Gen games like Most Wanted and COD2 run good on this card. 2007 games and up, you'll have problems, except maybe HL2 EP2. Valve uses low requirements.
I run it with a geforce 6200 the 256mb edition with clocks at 350/500 and a pentium 4 506 at 2.6ghz and it runs ok at the low settings but with low fps, about 15 average with 25 max... now i have the same pentium at 4.2ghz with 2gb ram at 1066mhz with 4-4-4-10 timings and a 9800gtx and it runs 100% perfect, but boring game,at least for me.
"because i say better to go out and have fun with the cpu money." bad excuse, so why you bought a high end card if you use the pc for internet generally? that's contradictory. Was better a good cheap card for what you uses but well, is your decision.
hehehehe i got it by an stock house, fully working, six months guarranty, only abouts 70 dollars.I would like to play games, but ok the way i play with the p4,it's fine,i don't need any dual core or something, the o/ced pentium it's fine, and as far i got no less than 30 fps, hell yeah it's fine.
when demo came out i played it on ati 9950 and amd sempron 2600+ and 756mb ram(everything low!lol!),now i passed the game on intel core 2 duo e8400 3,0ghz on nvidia en9800gt 512mb and 2gb ram and i can play it on high(except shaders and geometry on medium),rez on 20inch 1680x1050 i get 40-60fps ;)

wtf your 6600gt runs this my old comps 6800 with huge overclock couldn't even get a picture in this game although on the settings you have this looks worse than BF veitnam
can a xfx 8600gt 512mb with 1.5gb kingston GDDR3 run this game crysis on medium?i really want to know and buy this game along with the ram and card.I guess it will run cos this 6600 is running it...
I couldnt get good frame rates on my 7800 GT pissed me off so i went out a got a 8800 GT now i can run this game at 1440 X 900 EVERY THING ON HIGH and with AAX2 and i get good stable frame rates now.
How the hell can you play it without lagging? I also have an 3500 @ 2,7! and a 6800gt extreme and ich can lay it to but onkly on 1024x768 an everything low except the shader and thething that its going blur...these 2 are on medium and i have 20-25fps...
it's all about RAM in Crysis, I think so. i have a64 3000+, 2x512 ram 667mhz and 8500GE, and it was unable to play when I fought with enemies - but guy with the same card as i have, who had also better proc and more RAM could play this in medium 1024 ;)
the game is close to be playable. i have almost the same performance with my ati hd 2400. the only difference is dx 10 that makes everything look a little bit better.
It's obviously more playable without FRAPS. If you use 800x600 you get about 30FPS in most areas. I've got an overclocked Pentium E2180 and 2GB now so there's no lag spikes, just low FPS.
I have 6600 non GT and thats like 22 fps in absolute LOW on everytihng included resolution. So this card might play it on some setting medium and get 25 fps or something. 8800 card is recommended for this game.
Hey, i have an 6600GT and have finished playing crysis few days ago just when it came out.
I am playing at 1024 - Texture are at meadium - shadows at medium - shader on low(or medium not sure now) but everything in right corner those 6 or 7 stuff are put on MAX.

get rid of the AA - you are lying to yourself if you think that it's smooth at those settings...

How the hell can you play it without lagging? I also have an 3500 @ 2,7! and a 6800gt extreme and ich can lay it to but onkly on 1024x768 an everything low except the shader and thething that its going blur...these 2 are on medium and i have 20-25fps...
CrankDaWorld 4 years ago
Put the shader on low. Lags the computer like hell. Turning the resolution down even more helps too.

it's all about RAM in Crysis, I think so. i have a64 3000+, 2x512 ram 667mhz and 8500GE, and it was unable to play when I fought with enemies - but guy with the same card as i have, who had also better proc and more RAM could play this in medium 1024 ;)

Someone's pants got ripped at 0:27, 0:32, and 0:38, lol.
(I know, it's xfire.)

the game is close to be playable. i have almost the same performance with my ati hd 2400. the only difference is dx 10 that makes everything look a little bit better.
fermixx 4 years ago
It's obviously more playable without FRAPS. If you use 800x600 you get about 30FPS in most areas. I've got an overclocked Pentium E2180 and 2GB now so there's no lag spikes, just low FPS.

How did you overlock your Processor?
Sodisna 4 years ago
By using the BIOS. It's at 3.1GHz now.

I have ClockGen. Would you mind PMing Step-by-step on how you did it. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ "Venice"

now, i have the full game and the same card.. but i can only play it on low graphics..lol! wut u playin on?
SalzerX 4 years ago
I have 6600 non GT and thats like 22 fps in absolute LOW on everytihng included resolution. So this card might play it on some setting medium and get 25 fps or something. 8800 card is recommended for this game.

looks pretty laggy and bad with 6600GT.

But this is using fraps. It's a bit laggy, but it's still playable.

I get around the same. I run at 1280 x 720 with everything low except for the physics which is high. It drops down to around 15fps sometimes though.
d4rky26 4 years ago
