This was originally released on the SEGA CD (I still have it) and later on the 3DO. A great game...to answer Steve's question about the right way to go, simply follow the direction of each arrow, miss one and you will go off course and crash.
the 3DO version looks so much better than the Mega CD version, like you when I first played it on my Mega CD I didnt know how to turn, i found by chance that you had to push the direction and the b button, is it the same on the 3DO?
Never saw this game's 3DO version, but had it on Sega CD. It looks and sounds much better on 3DO. I agree that it's too easy and the acting sucks, but I still enjoyed this rail shooter enough that I still play it today.
I love how at the time they were released this type of cruddy FMV games were touted as the future of gaming. LOL! Gamester81 recommended u on his latest video. nice vids mate :)
Wow, I had forgotten this was even on the 3DO. I have the Sega CD version which I quite enjoy, because I'm a sucker for FMV games. Cool to see this, thanks for making the video!
BTW, if you don't know HOW to play this game, DON'T PLAY! Again, this game is VERY EASY! Just pay attention to the directions given to you. Also, leave the comments to shows like Mystery Science Theatre 3000. At least what they say is funny.
Definitely you wouldn't want too much in the way of this kind of stuff which is why the format never survived anyway, but what there is of it is fun to experience if you're not approaching it in a serious way
I look back now and smile at how naff most of the Mega CD fmv games were but i actually think that's part of why it can be so much
This style of gameplay only existed for such a short time really that i think we should probably laugh and be respectfull of what once was
The thing i find with these fmv games is they do have a certain charm. We're not going to see the likes of this style of game again thanks to the crazy hardware advances and although these games were normally very shallow, i like now that they are part of our history.Bad or not i really do enjoy playing some of these dreadfull games, as part of the fun is seeing how painfully funny it all is
Now you mention it, I think they were. When that didn't pan out, they were moved over to the Nintendo CD add-on by Sony, which obviously didn't pan out either.
The Sega / 3DO versions we now known and "love" were released several years after the games were originally designed.
Neat, I wasn't aware this game was available on another console. I had this game for my Sega CD and I never managed to beat it but my brother did, just once.
I liked this game , had it for Sega CD

I make my videos for my own purposes, and some people like them, some don't... most have better manners than you though.

The cut scene's in this game you can really spend a lot of time making fun of.
Wasn't this & Night Trap originally going to be on some sort of VHS based gaming system?

The only difference was that the Sega version had fewer colours, and so looked even more grainy than this.
