I USUALLY have a good eye for talent, but I didn't see it early on with Nadal. I saw a top 20 player(ish)...........It was back in 2003 on a back court in Indian Wells, CA. Nadal was playing Augustin Calleri, where we were sitting courtside (literally, with our feet touching the court). The match went to a 3rd set tie-breaker, which was an incredible battle. But the Nadal at that time was a grinder without a weapon, so I figured he would be a good player, but not great. Boy was I wrong. Vamos!

Where do the muscles come from? That was Nadal at 16.. He looked strong there for a 16 year old, Nadal has a naturally strong build, because he does weights aswell then he can put some real muscle on. He doesen't roid or take any illegal substances.

Yeh he does quite a bit of resistance training like squats and stuff. He is naturally strong though, you can tell by his muscle fibres and stuff, some people do weights and train a lot but don't get muscles as ripped as that because their body is a different type. I think Nadal is a Mesomorph.
