  • I love how Emma says she's in love with Churchill, yet she is ok with the thought of Harriet liking Frank.

  • I love the music, it's beautiful. Does anyone know if it's available to download?

  • this is the best version.....

  • How wrong they both are: Mr. Knightly doesn't want Jane...Harriet doesn't want Frank....@hibs0102 I agree with u!!

  • "some of us don't need to look that far" lols! XP

  • Mr.Knightley: But she has a fault , she's reserved, more reserved than she used to be , like an open temperment In other words, Emma xD

  • 5:17 is so adorbzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. :)))

  • Mrs. E. is Dolores Umbridge's daughter.

  • @34RiverStone OMG! Is she??!

  • @NaomiLove96 no not literaly, I was just kidding. She acts as if she were. Have you seen Harry Potter?

  • @34RiverStone Yeah Im a super HP Fan

  • @NaomiLove96 i am too! I was in to HP since fourth grade, and have seen all the movies and read all the books. I love HP!!!

  • I love how Knightley understands exactly what Emma needs to pull her out of a slump. "...looks like you're in need of a project..." he reads her like a book.

  • wow :)

  • ms.elton is one of those people that you want to shutup everytime they open their mouth.

  • cat4fab, you are the best!!!!!!!!! Thanks for uploading the whole movie

    I ♥ it!

  • What is the song title playing at 5:37? I love it

  • he is soo sweet, because she ran out of projects he always know what she needs n just love to see her happy and cheerful.

  • 5:01

    Emma's face... so perfect

  • at 5:37 his facial expression is perfect! he is thinking "oh dear I am really in love with Emma and now I don't know what to do!!"

  • Frank- "How good it is to be reminded of the child in us all."

Mr. Knightley- "Some of us don't need to look that far." bahaha, I LOOVES him!!

  • Anyone else think that they put Jane in his little flashback for a reason?

  • At 7:18 to 7:33. I love how Knightly just knows what she needs and loves watching her get excited. His smile is one of perfect satisfaction.

  • i don't like harriet. i just really needed to express that

  • the actress that plays Emma is so beautiful ! and plays Emma so well, and there is nothing to say about Mr. Knghtley, he is perfect !

  • "Until Cole had mentioned it... the thought hadn't entered my head. Go and get it!" haha :)

  • 7:52 to 7:55 Mr. Knightley is such an adorable gentleman. THAT's how I want a man to open a door for me.

  • I think this adaptation does a fabulous job of showing how Knightly's feelings develop. I think that it's largely to do with the fact that it's six hours long, so they really had time to explore the relationship in depth.

  • i really like this adaptation! it is pretty close to the book!

  • poor emma, this was supposed to be her project and her fun time, but how cute it was how excited she got when knightly mentioned a project

  • @raymonda100 i agree! the emma thompson adaption of sense and sensibility was wonderful and this movie is right up there with it! i was saying one day that emma thompson is such a good screen writer and that shes so good st doing austen that she really should just take on all the austen novels

  • I love the fact that Emma always seems to know (without looking up) when it is Mr. Knightley who enters the room.

  • Remember, my matchmaking days are strictly over...:-)))

  • I think this is the best Austen adaptation since Emma Thompson's Sense & Sensibility.

  • I love how Knightley say "If you ask me, I would say you were in need of a project." and Emma gets all excited! haha this version is so cute!

I also love how Knightley nods his head in agreement when she says "...and we will only invite people that we like."

    ..........SOOOO CUTE!...........

  • I love Box Hill. I used to play there when i was little! It is as pretty as they suggest.

  • "Some of us don't have to look that far." Oooo! Ouch! XD Love the sarcasm.

  • @Sarandib22 Knightly has best lines!!!!

  • Oh the music! It's so romantic they are finally falling in love and actually realizing it!

  • Hey Mrenne16163, not cool, the dog was totaly adorable!

  • the music in this is lovely

  • 5:14 - 5:32 This is a cool shot. I'm trying to figure out how they did it.

  • I think they prob'ly used a round the way shot (camera on a circle track) and then timelasped it into a previous shot of Knightly and Emma dancing. It requires perfect timing but isn't that difficult to do these days. It is beautifully done :)

  • @boya307 There's no sound, just the background music, so they could have done almost anything - rolled up to him with a camera on a wheeled tripod maybe, or even walked up to him and around him, which might account for some of the instability as they're approaching him (the camera goes up and down slightly - the horizontal panel above the door bobs). There's special poles you can put the camera on that balances out most of the jiggling when you walk but not all, which might be what we see there.

  • You can really see the affection on his face when she talks about what is - essentially - her loneliness. She might be a social butterfly, but even she realizes that the only people who really know and love her are her father, Mrs. Weston, and Mr. Knightly. It's such a beautiful moment that really adds a lot to this adaptation.

  • I for one, has always wondered about her lack of desire to travel. Granted that she never intends to leave her father, it shouldn't deter one from occasional short trips. But then again, I speak for my generation I guess.

  • what heavenly music....I love the cello whenever it plays!

  • i love how they portray the fact that Knightly has realized that he loves Emma at 5:17 :)

    i really like this adaption.

    thanks for the upload!

  • I love the last sentance said before it stops just listen

  • I know!!! knightly is soooo funny!!

  • You mean, "Some of us don't have to look that far"? I know, I chuckled when I heard that too.

  • Louise Dylan is beautiful.

  • hmm is the music starting at 5:26 on the soundtrack?

  • he loves her, he loves her, he loves her! I really like this adaptation!

  • Emma's hair is actually too modern for the period. I suspect they did it to make her more attractive for a younger audience. Harriet's is more accurate.

  • @yvrguynow I agree; the costuming is so accurate (in my opinion) but her hair seems so wrong to me too. I think the real problem is that in real life it must be too short to do much with except for barely have it off her neck in a ponytail, and a fake wrap around it at all times...LOL But her personality and natural beauty make up for historical accuracy; And that's a lot considering I'm a natural blonde who can't bear to go out in public without mascara!

  • I love Emma's hair. It's so different from the usual styles at that time period, yet it somehow works. Harriet's is so funny though!

  • what a beautiful dog!

    thanks for sharing :-)

  • Harriet is made to be pathetic

  • @princess3908 she's nothing compared to the Harriet in the other Emma from '96 or whatever year it was....she was painful to watch.

  • @DiscoLemonade11 The Beckinsdale or Paltrow version?

  • I love his face at 5:39, its like he finally reaslised he loved Emma :)

  • I love this version of Emma! This is the best one I have seen. Thank you for sharing.
