no, I've never dumpster dived. I collected cans, stacked wood for people, networked. I drank single malt Scotch and even grilled good cuts of steak for the weeks I was homeless. I spent the money I earned and lived each day like it was my last. To have to have dumpster dived would have done my head, and my pride in. I used a laptop case to smuggle what I needed to shave, bathe, and wash cloths into a fast food bathroom. I wanted to look like a student, or businessman.
I have a feeling it is going to happen to me too. Things are taking an odd and ugly turn in my life. I feel like getting away for a while would be the best choice for me. I am training now kind off to cope with the outdoors because I am not really used to the outdoors all that much. I have always been an indoor person. Any way great video. If you can really survive sleeping outside in the snow than maybe there is still a chance for me.
Hey, I'm homeless and I have a car and an hp laptop. Things change. My work has taken a turn for the worst. Read about New England fishermen.Decent paying jobs aren't very abundant these days. I don't have child support to pay anymore, but I feel sorry for guys who can't survive on what the courts demand they pay. Thanks for the vid. Many times it's not a persons fault that they are homeless.
I can borrow a video camera from a public access television station. The camera I used for the above video was given to me.
A SUV driver not paying attention pulled out in front of my '95 Ford Escort wagon when I was doing 55, July 23. I thought I was going to die then. On an ambulance gurney, I didn't know the extend of permanent injuries. I've received nothing!
I have no paper money, no job, no car, and am forced out of where I am Dec 26 back out in the snow!
My sister me gave me an older laptop computer. For a long time, I had no computer. A vivatar 310 extremely cheap camera, also given to me, can be used to load youtube video from almost any library as it is also a USB storage device. You can get audio in libraries with $10 USB earphones.
I've slept on various couches, a disabled van, out in the woods, and even down in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit. I worked as an insurance adjuster until I was fired for having a prison record.
Have you ever dumpster dived? You can get a bounty of good food.

2008-2009 created more American millionaires then ever in history.
Corporate American CEOs are mass migrating to Europe after looting the company's treasury of millions upto several hundred millions each.
The good old boys we have been loving and supporting our entire lives have betrayed us.
There is no honor among American executives.

If you're trying to find some alternative places to stay outdoors man, why don't you move south? you have a vehicle.

Really interesting! Suburban survival? A guy who has a vidcam and a car giving homeless folks advice.

There is too little space to explain, what I could write a book on. If you're really curious, google "Steven G. Erickson"
