I pick red lipsticks more based around the colour of someone's teeth. Because even if you pick a colour that suits someone's skin tone or hair colour, it may make their teeth look really yellow (which red lipstick is notorious for). A blue red lippy will not fail. Try Mac's Ruby Woo, or Mac Red.
If your teeth are very white, then you can go for different base colours to the red, like a more orange red. It really depends on your hair, eye colour, etc.

Not to use it over eyeshadow?!!! THat's ridiculous. Why design an eyeliner not to wear over shadow!!!! What are Shiseido thinking.
It shouldn't get clogged up. I personally know 3 people (close friends and family) who use the liner, and they haven't had a problem. Can you do me a favour. Next time you do your makeup and use the liner, and it clogs up, take a pic and email it to me so I can see what you mean.
And for cleaning false lashes, I first pick off the glue with my fingers and tweezers. You can buy a lash glue remover, but I've not tried it. Then I use a good oil based makeup remover (I use Mac's Gently Off) and put it on a tissue and gently rub the lashes till they are clean!

Oh crap, I keep meaning to do this!!! Everytime I go to the mac store!!! See i get to the mac store and get all excited, spend too much money and leave without checking out an alternate blush!!! I'll look next time I'm out, and I'll post the answer in my second instalment of my FAQ's video.

Hi Sandie... you want to trim from the outside. Take off a little at a time till you get the length you want. The lashes should extend slightly past the natural lashline. And for glue, I use Lashgrip or you could use Ardell Duo (i'm pretty sure that's the name of it). I'm not too sure where you can buy glue where you are, I usually have to go to a makeup store like Mac or Napoleon.

Regardless of whether I am wearing contacts or not, I want to make sure I am using a good quality glue like Lashgrip or that Ardell Duo stuff... I think that's what it's called. In fact anything close to my eye, I make sure is good quality, because my eyes are quite sensitive.

I would go for a more berry red darker lipstick. That way it won't stand out as much. The lighter or brighter the lipstick, the bigger your lips with look.

I am planning on uploading a Dolly Makeup video this evening (if all goes well with time today). I would follow these principles. It's not too over the top, sort of doll influence. I've done bright lips, but you might want to wear pinks.
Here and there. Look for people like Eartha Kitt, Marilyn Monroe, Nat King Cole, Brigitte Bardot, Blossom Dearie, etc. It's lounge music or jazz from the 50s and 60s.

The liquid liner is by Shiseido and it's my fave of all time. Mum and I have been using this particular product for over 10 years. Even when I've tried others, I've never been as happy as I am with this.
And just so you know.... I always list the products I use in the description text to the right of the video. Just click on the "more" button.... incase there is anything else you were interested in.
I use a good makeup remover, an oil based one. I use Mac. It's only about $20. I put the product on a tissue, and then gently wipe the lashes, being careful not to ruin the shape. Once all mascara is cleaned off, then I use tweezers and pick off any excess glue.

Umm... the lashes were Mac ones. I bought them because the drugstore ones I usually get weren't there. I unfortunately can't remember the product no. that they were because I bought 2 pairs that day. It was either a #1 or #3
Good tip with the red-blue hue of lipstick! It does make your teeth appear whiter, I use a lipgloss with a very faint blue color instead of a red lipgloss!! :)

I just gently rub the lashes between two tissues with heaps of eye makeup remover cream... I use a l'oreal one... Lancome have the best makeup remover though!

I was actually looking for a drugstore brand the day I went to buy the lashes, but the shop I go to was out! There is no problem buying a cheap pair. Just look for good shapes and styles. I've got a pair of Mac ones that are better than the drugstore ones, but some of the drug store ones are better than the Mac ones!

I do use individual lashes. When I was in my late teens, it was the trend for my friends and myself!!!! We went crazy with them. They are great for adding a bit of drama to your eye, without being too over the top.
I'm going to do a few looks with different types of falsies... as it depends on the style of the lash, what makeup you go with. I love this retro, full and fat lash look.

Regardless of whether I am wearing contacts or not, I want to make sure I am using a good quality glue like Lashgrip or that Ardell Duo stuff... I think that's what it's called. In fact anything close to my eye, I make sure is good quality, because my eyes are quite sensitive.

You just gently tug them off, and they peel right off. The glue is very gentle. So it won't rip out your eyelashes or skin or anything like that.

I would go for a more berry red darker lipstick. That way it won't stand out as much. The lighter or brighter the lipstick, the bigger your lips with look.

Definitely too much makeup for a 14 year old!!!! I am going to do a series of videos for teen girls. I am just having problems getting a model. If you did want to do something a little more dramatic but still understated, I think the Audrey look is pretty cool for that.

The liquid liner is by Shiseido and it's my fave of all time. Mum and I have been using this particular product for over 10 years. Even when I've tried others, I've never been as happy as I am with this.

I use a good makeup remover, an oil based one. I use Mac. It's only about $20. I put the product on a tissue, and then gently wipe the lashes, being careful not to ruin the shape. Once all mascara is cleaned off, then I use tweezers and pick off any excess glue.

Good tip with the red-blue hue of lipstick! It does make your teeth appear whiter, I use a lipgloss with a very faint blue color instead of a red lipgloss!! :)

I just gently rub the lashes between two tissues with heaps of eye makeup remover cream... I use a l'oreal one... Lancome have the best makeup remover though!

I was actually looking for a drugstore brand the day I went to buy the lashes, but the shop I go to was out! There is no problem buying a cheap pair. Just look for good shapes and styles. I've got a pair of Mac ones that are better than the drugstore ones, but some of the drug store ones are better than the Mac ones!

I do use individual lashes. When I was in my late teens, it was the trend for my friends and myself!!!! We went crazy with them. They are great for adding a bit of drama to your eye, without being too over the top.
I'm going to do a few looks with different types of falsies... as it depends on the style of the lash, what makeup you go with. I love this retro, full and fat lash look.
