u hafta burn to DVD-R or known as DVD-ROM. correct?

@TransGamers R and ROM are different. I've never heard of anybody burning to a ROM disc, so use -R, Sony or Verbatim, whenever possible. You can test it with a ROM disc if you want though, and if it works, tell me. I'm interested. :P

Hey sorry about this question I got my customs and shit and everything is all set up but I cannot burn my ISO to my disc (Medium not ready error). So as a question which brand of dvd discs do you use and which burner because Memorex and DVD+R's did not work with imgburn or nero.

I'd prefer not to use Memorex. Verbatim and Sony discs are good. Don't use +.

I think I found my main problem, I read up on the Verbatim and Sony before and you were right they are good, but I found out my burner was misleading it reads both dvds and cds but only burns cds. Thanks for answering all the questions.

There's a backup loader you can load from the homebrew channel.
